Had to replace a collar since my dog had a battle with a skunk. I had a "Sassy dog" collar (on the right), which has lasted 10+ years (& would have lasted years longer were it not for the skunk smell). I bought this one and am disappointed is how narrow it is as compared to the other one. It also does not have the extra layer of material that the other one did. Our pup is older & no longer tugs much, but if she did I would return this.

I got this for my 9 year old, 12lb Chihuahua, and it fits perfectly. Plenty of room to resize both up and down, since her weight sometimes fluctuates. It's very sturdy, though I do not walk her with collars. I have taken it on and off several times now though, and only minimal signs of wear.

It has been very difficult to buy a soft collar (not stiff leather) for our chihuahua cross, and I have tried every outlet I can find in South Australia.The QQPets collar has been exactly what we needed. Only this morning 2 people asked from where I had bought it, because they have the same problem finding collars for their dogs. They have seen soft collars, but without a click closure.
