Works on Mac not on Ubuntu
Worked like a charm on my 2018 MacBook pro, but the HDMI port does not seem to work on my System 76 Laptop with Ubuntu 18.04. I really needed this to work for the latter. Not sure who's at fault here, but it is frustrating that I can't have two monitors working by plugging them in given it's 2019. I'm sure either side has many complicated reasons why, but the bottom line is it doesn't work.
