No directions came with the remote. You have to send an email to get the programming information which was inconvenient as it was the weekend. It was not easy to program though I think that is just a product of the process for this remote and the vehicle. I would and did purchase again but am only giving 4 stars as it says it comes with programming directions.

Worked great for 1 year - 05 Sequoia
Took a few tries, but alternate method worked. I believe the trick is almost turning the key to start where it says to do it.11/01/2017 update:Remote fell apart and lost the panic button. Got it back together but now I have to push the buttons pretty hard for locking/unlocking. Not made to last.

I had this for a while now and it's still working great! Set up took 3 tries with 2 people working together and took less than 10 min. Price is great!

It was hard at first to program, but we finally figured it out.

this comes with two sets of directions. I went with the shorter one and it worked great. It only took me two tries to get this programmed.
