Received on time. Preparing for vacation departure following day. Transferred 1 bag (bought 4) to my travel container and off we went on our trip. When I made my first cup, it looked, tasted and smelled different than my previous brand which was no longer available. When I returned home, imagine my surprise when I read the ingredients: Dried Mulberry leaves. WHAT?Just to be sure that I knew what I was talking about before I sent this review, I checked several sources to be sure that that Jiaogulan and Mulberry are not related.Jiaogulan (Gynostemma Pentaphyllum) is a dioecious, herbaceous climbing, 5 leafed vine of the family cucurbitaceae. Mulberry (Morus, a genus of flowering plants in the family Moraceae, consists of 19 species of deciduous trees commonly known as mulberries.)This is absolutely FALSE advertising. Unfortunately I returned from vacation too late to return the remaining product and the other 3 bags. Not happy. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Yeah, there is the occasional vine in there along with the leaves. I just pick them out. I like to eat the tea leaves after drinking and I have never had a problem with the vines. The quality, besides that, is good and I will be getting more of this tea in the future.

Tea tastes good. And I think it has a energizing effect. The price for this one was the best too.

Great value and clearly authentic. Despite what other reviewers say, the plant is supposed to have 5 leaves and the stems contain the same beneficial contents as the leaves.

The leaves were dark and some seemed damaged or withered. Lots of grit. Not sure what that says about quality. Not a vibrant green like another one i bought. They wouldn't really unfurl after brewing so i could see if they were 5 leave or seven leaf. Another brand does this easily.

Most Gynostemma products can have a strong, bitter taste but this one has a nice and smooth taste which makes a great tea. Definitely a quality product that is perfect for my herb supplementation. I will purchase again.
