Is there live monitoring? And can i turn it on and off??

You can only monitor INPUTS on the MK2. You cannot monitor outputs. So if you are trying to DJ and you want a cue in your headphones or booth, you are outta luck. You are better off finding a used MK1.

Does the output jack in the front passthrough audio from your computer as well or does it only output the input signal for monitoring?

Both. There is a knob that lets you mix the input (instrument, microphone) and host (computer/DAW) signals on the headphone output.
