Heartwood 139A Wood Duck Decorative Bird House

I've only had this house up for a short time so no ducks so far. I like the construction very much, it is well built of all 13/16 inch cypress. I put it on a 4 x 4 post with a baffle underneath since the water level may drop below the post and 24 inch aluminum flashing for raccoons (they can get past a baffle). The front has two tabs that turn so that you can slide the front down to clean it out and put fresh shavings in and it has worked well. I would buy this box again. I put the post in before the water level was up.

I paid extra for what looked like a high quality nest box. This next box is poorly built with what looks like 0 quality control. There are smashed staples, nails poking out of the side, a front door that doesnt fit in the slots and warped wood. I'll be returning this and taking my business somewhere else.
