Great product!
First off, do not, I repeat do not use the mixing cups that come with this set more than once. I used each cup 3 times. And on the third use, the resin melted the cups, and even got so hot it was smoking. Had to throw it in a puddle and pour more water over. It had the water boiling. Now, going backa couple of weeks......I used this for the first time last night. I'm very impressed so far. A lot easier than trying to use the bondo brand and guess the amount of hardener. Word of warning. Once mixed, you have maybe 10 minutes before it starts to jell. And if you're wearing latex gloves, you'll be able to tell because it gets hot. And I mean hot. Also, the thinner you spread it, the faster it sets. Had some pool up on the boat bottom and an hour later it was still tacky. Highly recommend!

A Great Product
I had to replace / rebuild some rotten deck and part of a stringer on my '93 Maxum 1800. After much product research, I decided to try the TotalBoat Epoxy 5:1 kit with the fast hardener. I have used almost three gallons via three different orders.I have had no issues and great results with each. When I started, I used a scale to ensure the pumps were measuring the correct amount - they were within a gram or two every pump of both parts, thus ensuring proper mixture. I am comfortable enough with the pumps' calibration that I no longer use a scale and every batch sets up fine.Working in the heat, I would only use five or six pumps of each, work it, then start another batch. That ensured it did not set up before I could get it where I needed it. With cooler temperatures, I had more time. Adding fillers for fillets is no problem.I like that it comes with the calibrated pumps, two mixing bowls, stir sticks and gloves, though the gloves are pretty thin. Everything you need is in the box on arrival. Since it is an epoxy resin, it does not stink like the polyester resins common at local big-box hardware stores. Though the product is not necessarily cheap, it is much less expensive than some of the more popular brands on the market, and those do not include all the extras. This is a quality product and good value. The shipping was very fast. I'm 100% satisfied with both the product and the seller.

Great product for the price and easy to use
Great product and easy to use. I mixed some transtint dye and glitter with it and used it to fill large cracks in a wooden table top.The mixture is thin enough to fill the smallest of voids so you need to be sure you Dam it with something if you think it might run out - preferably with foil or sheet metal. When filling large voids - you may want to do it in multiple applications - you need to let the curing heat release and it will bubble if it gets too hot. The product does shrink a small amount when it cures. The measuring pumps make it pretty idiot proof. For the bar tops that I made, I used this product to fill the cracks and a clear bar-top epoxy flood coat to cover the surface.

Performed as described
I like the pumps that eke the right amount of product, so they remove any guessing. I used the Total Boat resin in conjunction with fiberglass matting to make repairs in my sailboat. Make sure the surface you want to work on is clean and free of dust and contaminants and I wiped the surface with alcohol and tacky cloth before applying the resin and fiberglass cloth. There are numerous YouTube videos available. The result was great and solid and I am very pleased with the product and the fact that it was cheaper than the West Marine 105 and just as good. Just follow the directions and you’ll be happy with results

No more measuring!!
This kit comes with pumps but that's not the best part! These are amazing pumps that don't drip or leak and are the perfect amount. Simply 1 pump of the resin and 1 pump of the hardener is the recommended 5:1 ratio!! Finally! No more guessing and trying to read tiny oz. .measurements on plastic containers!!!I used this system to fiberglass over wood for a vintage camper rock guard!
