Glad I chose it !!!!
Just what I expected....all round high-end Gaming Laptop. Plenty fast...plays even quite demanding games.Battery life reasonable -- if you are, for example, doing spreadsheets, you can use powersaver, and battery lastsfor hours. Gaming....prob 3 - 4 hours. Fan isn't that bad --- it occasionally speeds up, but most of the time quite reasonable.

Decent machine. Advert should have pointed out more that it has a US keyboard on so no £ symbol. The 'US input' wasn't clear as I wouldn't have expected it to be an American spec machine. But other than that it's nicely powerful.

Awesome machine
The seller was super nice. I received a defective item and he helped me through the return/replacement process and was very comprehensive. This is a great machine with a sleek, modern design that doesn't look as bulky as the regular ROG laptops - which for me is perfect because I don't like the bulky look. I definitely recommend it.

The product performs as advertised. Some adjustment needed to keyboard, as not all keys are present as on last laptop. Fan is quite noisy when in operation, battery life very short when gaming.

Nice laptop, but noisy !
I'm not a gamer, just wanted a powerfull laptop for video editing and photography. I was attracted by the specs of this machine - Intel i7-7700HQ, Nvidia GTX 1050, IPS display...etc. Overall this laptop looks good, BUT i was disappointed of fan noise form the first moments. I have another Asus laptop, i've bought it 3 years a go for around 400 ponds and it's quiet like a mouse. This Rog Strix is noisy even with some simple tasks like surfing internet or unzipping files. Even in idle mode fan noise is disturbing and unacceptable for a laptop with this price tag in 2017. I've returned after 1 day of use !
