Q: Are the colors on the remote supposed to match the colors it shows? I can only get like 5 different colors.

I've noticed it has all of the colors when it's physically plugged in, but if it's running off og batteries it doesn't display all of the colors (including white)

Q: If you unplug this while on and plug it back in, does it turn back on or do you have to press the power button again? AKA: Works with smart outlet?

Press power again. I will say I have had nothing but problems with these lights. I can’t get them to stay on with only the white lights. They go to blinking mode and color suddenly by themselves. I would never buy this junk again
