I just ordered this lamp, and already love it! Looks nice in our living room, and works well with our amazon echo. I do want to mention that during the WiFi setup there is a period of time where the light bulb blinks in rapid succession (like a strobe light) while connecting to WiFi. I have a child with epilepsy, and if he was in the room, it would’ve been an issue. If you, or anyone in your household, has a sensitivity to strobe lights, stay away from the room during the set up.I will update my review if we start having any issues.

The lamp itself looks really nice and is also sturdy. The on off switch is located about 3 feet from the base on the cord - simple on off flip switch. Cord is of decent length. It does come with smart light bulbs that require you to download the smartlife app onto your phone in order to set it up for Alexa as advertised. A bit of a process but once it's done you don't have to do it again - and if you want the colors you have to set it up. Other than the light bulb that's included, there is nothing about lamp itself that is "smart" enabled. It's just a lamp.

Provided lightbulb died within one week of very light use. Also, the color can only be managed from a separate app. The Echo Plus skill will not change the color either from the app or voice command.To be clear as well, the lamp is not a smart lamp. It comes with a generic brand smart bulb that you then must activate through a third party app. If you like how the lamp looks, great, but if you're looking for a product that's inherently smart this is not it.

A beautiful little lamp - perfect for creating mood with color. Works great with Google home - all commands can be used to control brightness and color. Love this!

We purchased this for an Alexa controlled light in the bedroom. It comes with a generic "smart-bulb" which is where all the technology is, since the lamp itself is just a frame and power source. The instructions for connecting the bulb to Wifi and an app you download are included, but do not work. I have tried several times following the instructions to connect, but the product will not connect to wifi or the app. I contacted the company via email, per the card they include suggesting I contact them with any issues. I have received no answer at all from the company, so I decided to submit a review and warn other potential buyers of the problems we encountered. The problem is with the bulb and may just need a replacement, but without contact I assume this will not happen. It is unfortunate because we support small companies when possible.

I got 2 of these for night stand lamps. They are look very nice and don't take up much space (which I like.) I downloaded the Tuya app on my phone and it was very simple to get the lights connected. Once that was done, you then go into your Alexa app and connect them. They aren't super bright, but I think they will be just fine for me to use for reading at night without disturbing my sleeping hubby. I love the varieties of colors you can set them to be.Update: 3-5-18 - One of my lamp's bulbs will now no longer connect to the Tuya app. I have tried multiple options to reconnect, but no luck. It might have been a better idea to just by a couple cute lamps and then get a name brand wifi bulb for each of them.

Pros:-It is a pretty nice looking lamp, with a very compact form factor.Cons:-The bulb is not very bright at all, unless you have it on the full "white" setting. I would be okay with this if it weren't for the fact that the "white" setting is VERY blue. To get it to a comfortable color (comparable to the 6500k CFL bulb that was in our previous lamp), we have to change the color to yellow and set the saturation to something like 75-80%. The brightness is still set to 100%, but the actual light is nowhere near as bright with these settings. It could almost be used as a night light.-You cannot create custom presets for the color of the light. You can change the colors of the "Scene settings, but these settings come with a sort of "pulsing" effect (the light fades in and out), and though you can change the speed of the pulse, you cannot turn it off entirely. All you can do is set a custom color and leave it as-is. It will remember the current color when turned off and on, but if you decide to use a different color for a while, you'll have to change it back by manually fiddling with the settings again.-Sometimes the bulb appears offline in the app, and has to be manually switched off and on for the app to work again.-The "schedule" feature just doesn't work at all.Bottom Line:-The lamp itself is nice, but the "smart" bulb isn't so smart, after all. I would recommend that you order the version of this lamp that comes without the bulb, and then just purchase your own smart bulb separately.

Love it. I often walk in to the house with my hands full. It's so nice to say " Alexa turn on the lights" and its done. Very convenient.
