I really wanted this light to work as it was supposed to do. The design was very nice and functional. This was purchased for emergency situations and I needed the USB charging ability. The battery of the unit just did not hold the charge. I tested the lamp and it really cut out after a relatively short time. I then recharged fully again and the same lack of performance occurred. I also tried to charge my phone after fully charging the unit and the charging operation just kept stopping. This happened several times so I finally gave up. I contacted Amazon and was given the option to exchange the unit for another one but I didn't want to take a chance so I opted for a refund which I promptly received. This was very disappointing since I really liked the design.

Got this for the lantern. Was impressed by amount light given off and the way you could adjust the cob panels. The flashlight is the bonus. Very strong beam with a tight focus. And the fact that I don't have to buy batterys for it makes it great deal.Update: Found a new feature. With the cob panels unfolded two are black plastic on the inside, the other is translucent. With the cob panels turned on, press and hold the power button this will turn on the translucent panel only. For long time usage and less power draw.

Occasionally we get power outages. We wanted a rechargeable lantern we could put on the table that would provide enough light for meals or cards. This seems to work out just right. It gives nice brightness standing in the middle of a table. There are 3 fold out "wings" that will spread the lights so you can hang it up and they will shine down and light an area. Once the wing lights are opened, you can pivot the unit so they act as a spot light, horizontally. The top will function as a flashlight. I only wish the 18650 battery was easily switched out, as I have individual batteries we keep charged and it would make this lantern work much longer for extended outages. This was a lightning deal and it was very much worth it.

This isn't a huge light, but it gives off a lot of light. Since it's small, the hook on the top is proportionately small also. Luckily, we had a little yarn handy and was able to hang is over our picnic table just perfect. It got a low, bright and flashing option, it can be bent at 90 degrees, and also charge the cell phone in an emergency. Like what's shown above. Glad I purchased it.

High value, very bright, is the ideal choice for camping. It's useful to take it to the shower in the evening. They are not so bright that they interfere with others.

It's very suitable for camping, power failure, yes, car failure. The use of gardens and so on. I put it in the car. This is a great lamp for many purposes.
