I keep ordering these, not only for myself, but friends and family as they are so durable and useful. I even wash them in the dishwasher with my dishes and/or throw them in washer with my towels...they NEVER fall apart. Of course, do NOT dry in dryer, just air dry.

There really is not much difference between brands of these non-sponge sponges. All of them seem to be good, although some are more water-absorbent than others. They all can be washed in the dishwasher or washing machine and will last through many washings. They don't retain smells like the normal sponges do. When they wear out, you can throw them in your compost. These are smaller in size than my favorite brand, "If You Care" so they don't double as paper towels, but certainly do the job as sponges for the counter or to wash dishes.

This review is to let everyone know that when you open these vacuum packed dish cloths don’t freak out (like I did) because they are wet. Apparently they are packaged that way to keep them from drying out. After I opened the package I washed/rinsed each one with soap and water and then left them dry overnight. The one on the right is washed and dried. The other is out of the package and damp. These sponge cloths are great for washing dishes and wiping down countertops! They dry quickly and don’t get mildewy.

I no longer use the more traditional sponges and only use these sponge cloths. sponges seem to leave streaks on granite and when I discovered these sponge cloths, I was so excited to see they do not. I love the variety of colors in a package too. These sponges last a long time and can be sterilized and cleaned in the dishwasher and also washed in the washing machine although I usually just clean in the dishwasher. It's best to keep the sponge in a caddy so it doesn't sit wet in the sink or it gets a mildew smell. It will anyway from time to time so I add a little dish soap between washings if that happens and it's fine.

For me, these sponges are essential in the kitchen for wiping surfaces. Durable, can be washed if needed. Good absorption.

Was on my last cloth/sponge dish cloth for soaking up messes. Saw these, read all the negative reviews. Decided to try them anyway. They were too large for my purpose, so I cut them down using a large paper cutter and put them all back in a smaller quart sized plastic bag to keep them moist as they do dry out. However, you just put them under the faucet and they back to "good" ready to use. I do not scrub with them, I use scotch bright pads for scouring. My pans are ceramics so no sticking/scrubbing. These will last me a long time. Will definitely buy again when I am running low. Bigger messes, grab a towel =:0

They work well and came quick. Colorful and price was good. But I have purchased others from Amazon that were thicker.
