Fast shipping, arrived a day early. NOT designed for the MBP Retina w/ touchbar, but you can force it to fit. It will likely stress the envelop out too much, though and cause breaking over time.Love that the envelope flap is velcro and NOT magnetic. Yes, this is noisier. Yes, this looks cheaper. However, I maintain that an identical magnetic design (envelope flapped laptop carrier by Betsey Johnson) screwed up my old MacBook air in 2014 over time and caused issues.I'm using mine for my Kindle Fire 10 tablet because the case is lovely and <$15. It was too pretty not to purchase for the price and I needed an extra case anyway. The waxed cloth design will likely eventually show marking/scuffing (I'm pretty sure I knicked it on the left edge taking pictures) but I'm okay with that for now. There is a lot of extra room for the Kindle Fire 10 but in this instance I care more about looks than function and am glad to have a stylish emergency backup case.Color compliments other cases in the product line as well. Love that it looks subtly feminine, even though its really gender neutral coloring.
