Xlear Rescue Natural Nasal Spray with Xylitol, Oregano and Tea Tree, 1.5 fl oz (Pack of 1)

I use this every day along with some other things when I go into a crowded area where people can be sick and I have never gotten sick with a cold or flu or anything, in the last 5 or so years. I use it before I go into anywhere about 3 sprays up each nostril. It's my opinion, that it blocks stuff from adhering inside your nose or nasal cavity and cleanses it, but you have to sniff it up good, so it gets into your sinuses, not just your nose. I close one nostril with my finger and sniff it up the other nostril into my sinuses and let it run down my throat. You can swallow it no problem. I use the lozenges as well or the gum when I'm flying as well as the spray.One thing you should know if you have animals is that it has xylitol in it, and is poisonous to animals for some reason, I have no proof of that, but that's what I have read, so I keep it away from my pets.I've been flying in an airplane back and forth from Colorado to Florida the last year and I've gotten nothing. I repeat the spray every 2 hours when I'm on a plane. I'm no doctor, and I'm not soliciting advice, but it is my opinion it works great for not letting anything get in and stick to the inside of your nose. But you actually have to do it, for it to work. Thats the problem I have seen with my friends. They forget. I have friends that have said they took it after getting sick and it didn't work as well, so prevention is what I'm talking about. Nasal Hygiene!I also use some other things like Navage and 1% Provo iodine nasal spray after I get done flying, but I don't want to solicit medical advice, so you should seek your own info on these items, if you want to use them. I have a stuffy nose every night and only at night. I have been using a bit of affrin sometimes to fix it (bad idea, but I haven't found anything to work). I tried saline for a long time but it did nothing. Finally something works other than affrin. I don't know how to write this without it sounding like an ad, but what more can you say? It clears my congestion which is the only thing I wanted it to do.

I use this spray probably every other day, seems to help me from getting sick.

This nose spray far exceeds any I have previously used. Relief is immediate and long lasting. Confident in recommending it.

Unfortunately this was an experiment that doesn't seem to have panned out yet. I've had some incredibly long-lasting and severe congestion for a long while, and thought I'd attempt to mix in some essential-oil spray to see if the supposed antimicrobial/antifungal properties made any difference. So far they have not, nor has this product done much in the immediate to relieve congestion. That is probably specific to my own case though; I've been using another kind of nasal spray to manage my congestion for a long time, and at the moment it seems like that's the only thing that works. I've mixed in the essential-oil spray for a while, but I've noticed no real change.I will keep on trying with it, but at this point, it seems like this experiment has failed and I'll need to move onto the next one. Ah, well. But, as for the product itself, it seems solid. It does tingle a fair bit when sprayed in, for at least a half-minute or so until it settles; that oregano hits you pretty hard. But that sensation is short-lived, thankfully. Other people have reported success with Xlear, so hopefully it works better for you than it has so far for me.

This nasal spray did clear my nose. I only use it when I feel it is necessary. I am glad I bought it. I hope it will get to the root of my nasal problem. I am going to keep using it in good faith.
