This is wonderful and yes, it's leakproof and the ability to send the leftover water back into the bottle, not wasting it, is brilliant. So why not 5 stars? #1, it says it can hold max 12 fluid ounces of water but the plastic bottle actually holds a max of 10 fl. ounces and that's if you fill it to the point of spilling over. It does not hold 12 fluid ounces, unless you include the trough too, which wouldn't make sense. This means that you may have to carry a refill water-bottle, especially if you have more than one dog as I do. #2, having only one carry-strap on one side doesn't work for the weight distribution & bulkiness of this. I solved that by putting thick rubber-bands at the bottle-neck and attaching a 2nd strap (from my 2nd purchase) to the other side so that the bottle hangs level from my belt. However, I wish that QQPETS would simply add one more loop & strap to the other side so this wouldn't be as bulky to carry. Again, the 1-strap does not work well. Don't get me wrong, I love this and bought 2 of them but I made my own "fix" for the strap. With a 12 oz bottle and a 2nd strap, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Brilliant design for travel and walking my dog. It’s very good quality and is leakproof. I love that whatever my dog doesn’t drink can go back into the bottle by pressing a button. The lock prevents accidental dispensing during travel. I have given this as a gift to a relative who is getting a new dog, and recommended it to a friend who will soon be flying from another state to buy a puppy. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Wherever we go whether taking pup to a park or brewery we always bring this and it 1. doesnt leak 2. is so easy and lastly 3. i think my dog likes drinking out of here more than her actual bowl! It is amazing and ive been recommending all my friends to buy it

Every time I pull this out someone asks, "Where did you get that?" The bottle doesn't leak and you can easily put back the water you don't use. It fits easily into my dogs carrier and my dog loves it.

This is a cute dog water bottle. It holds 12 oz of water, so the water reservoir is rather small, so please read the product description. I received exactly what was advertised, intact with no missing parts. The reservoir and drink bowl unscrew easily. The lock button prevents water from coming out. The silicone(?) rubber seal prevents water from leaking outside the reservoir. The carrying string is nice, but way small and not really functional.CON: The bottle itself is unstable, so if you set it on the ground, it might roll around. So, you can prop it up with something so you don't have to hold it while your dog drinks from it. I can't get my chihuahua to stay still, so this is unfortunate. EASY FIX: wrap a rubber band around the bottle to give it some support and grip!

Highly highly recommend this product yeah it’s a little on the pricey side but my dog will actually drink from this

This bottle is the best. It is a bit bulky, but no more than a water bottle. I press the tab and water comes out. I can also make the water go back into the bottle. Which is handy if you have no where to get rid of it. Easy to clean, always looks fresh and clean because of the design. Never ever had one leak. My puppy took to it right away and started drinking. It fits his little face perfect. You can always keep a spare water bottle with you to refill it. No need to carry a bowl. The only travel water dish you need.

This is a genius idea. My dog and I fly all the time and it’s so much easier to just whip this sucker out and give her a drink. No mess. No fuss. It’s awesome. She even knows it’s her water bottle now and will tap it with her paw when she wants a drink :)It does leak a little sometimes. Might just be mine.. or user error with the lid. It’s not all the time and it’s not more than a few drops.The lock button is HARD to switch. I guess that’s a good thing for throwing it in your bag but a bad thing when trying to unlock it quickly. I have to use my teeth!Over all , LOVE this product. Will be buying more

We were in the car for 7 hours each way to and from our destination. Normally we have to stop and put water in a bowl to give our dog but with this product we could give him drinks without stopping all the time. Only had to stop for a little exercise and bathroom breaks.

I love that it has a lock on it, stopping you from accidentally pushing the button! And a good amount of water held in it for my dog who doesn’t drink a ton of water
