Adds stability a bit
I'm a seasoned rider. This adds a little bit of stability, and weight. It takes some getting used to, but I'm glad I got it. Sucks it's not aluminum. Bit too weighty... Take it slower than usual, but a good investment. I'm reviewing based on stock tires, will add review of how it handles with the off-road tires.

Five star product! Perfect upgrade for my MiniPro. Feels like/Looks like a legit Segway
This Scout frame was the perfect cherry on top of my Segway MiniPro rebuild. The build quality is top notch. From the fantastic packaging to the perfect fit, everything about this product is well thought out and beautiful. I did struggle with the installation a little bit but it was only due to working in tight areas. The instructions are straight forward and the parts integrate perfectly. I had installed the off road tires about a month before I installed this deck and the motor screws had all become loose, so I do suggest using loc-tite (sp) as the manufacturer's OEM screws are reused. Would have been better to do both installations at the same time. The deck itself adds stability and feels really good. It also provides a secure place for accessories or to use a cable lock
