Airror Elastic No Tie Shoelaces Best Lock for Running and Walking Shoes

FOLLOW-UP 2/28/19: As I suspected, these do work well and save you the trouble of tying laces by hand, which I have had to double tie to keep them from coming untied. Finally, someone came up with a better way, even if the manufacturer needs to get someone as a tech writer who actually knows how to explain “how to.” I’m raising my rating to 4 stars. PREVIOUS: These laces will work well if you have a proper guide to follow. The nearly worthless insert explaining the process is only a few illustrations with very few words. Worse still, they are not the pictures you need to see. I tried for 40 minutes to complete the last step but could not get it to work. The clip could not be closed. If forced, it popped loose and fell off in about two seconds. I was going to return them when I decided to take another look at the product page on Amazon, which has a well illustrated and explained "assembly" process on it. At a glance I could tell what I was doing wrong. So, I'll keep them and install them properly, at which point I expect they will work just fine. I've seen some pretty poor instructions in my time, but the insert with the laces is worthless. If, by chance, it still doesn't work, I'll amend this review. Obviously they have a good illustrated guide in just four steps, but why not include that with the product instead of the frustrating, unclear lousy little slip of paper they insert? I can't yet comment on the product but I expect them to work just fine now that I can see the step I was missing. As Forest Gump might say, "Stupid is as stupid does." Where do they find these morons who work in packaging vs. the talented people who put together the web page?

Decided to try no tie laces they are awesome

For what the product is I guess this item gets 5 stars but the product in general is so limited that I feel a need to downgrade to 4 stars. These work exactly as described and seem well made. They are elastic so we know they won't last all that long before they rot or lose their stretch. The stretch is both the benefit and downside of this product - it makes shoes easy to put on without the need to then & untie laces, but tight laces are what help keep shoes securely on your feet. Sometimes this doesn't matter much, and some people rarely tie their shoes at all, but unless you pull them very tight, these "laces" are not secure.

Love these and love the colors. I started looking for a tieless shoe string after carpal and cubital tunnel release surgery, because for 2 weeks I couldn’t tie my shoes. I’m already generally the kind of person that ties their shoes and then just tries to slip them on without untying. However, this usually leaves my shoes a bit loose and they come untied a lot. These were easy to put on (even though I’m down a hand), they look nice on my shoes (all 3 pair), and I was able to get my shoes on easily and they felt great! They only down-ish side is that once they’re on, they’re on. There is no taking them off to wash, transferring them to a new pair of shoes later, etc. However, for the price, that doesn’t bother me at all.

These elastic ties have been a savior to all in the family. One member knows how to tie their shoes, however is rather slow, and all of us try to wait patiently, and the member also felt bad holding us up! This is an awesome solution. And it also prevented an issue that occurred with normal laces, where it was tied so tight via double and triple knots, it made it painful to undo each time!There is one fallback the clips to pin the ends of the laces falls off. One pair we ended up just tying a huge knot and the other pair, proactively superglued it closed.

I bought this for my son who always has shoe lace problem when playing soccer. It is very easy to install. But after a few soccer game, we realize this is not the right thing for soccer. The snap is hard and can hurt when kicking ball. So I took it out of the soccer shoes and put them on to his casual shoes. They work well on casual shoes. No more ‘mommy tie my shoes!’ What a save to my back LOL

I am very disappointed with the plastic cap that goes on the end of the laces. They are more than difficult to put on the end of the laces. In fact I would say it’s impossible for them to close! I do wish the clip was a bit larger to allow it to snap together.

My son is lazy and hates putting on his shoes and having to tie his laces. This has made mornings much easier. After purchasing new sneakers, I purchase a coordinating color lace to put in it. Definitely worth the money
