Atlantic Technology FS3 Front Stage LCR Satin Black Soundbar Speaker System

I reluctantly purchased the LCR speaker due to the need to replace my existing speakers damaged by my kids. My old setup had a center channel under a 42" screen with matched LR speakers on each side of the TV. It was a narrow sound stage and limited by large windows on both sides which would have made it impossible to put the left and right channels in the proper location. So a LCR bar really didn't change much when it comes to movies. The most important thing was clear crisp voices and instrumentals, which this speaker does very well at reproducing. With the Left and Right speakers removed I now have more room to install a larger TV. In terms of looks, the speaker blends in so much better. It is a couple inches wider than my existing TV, but tends to blend in very well. It makes me realize how much of an eyesore the Left and Right speakers had been. The full size template made installation very easy. If you have the room for proper placement of the LR speakers by all means do it. But if you cant, then this is a great speaker. For those not familiar with this kind of speaker, recognize its not an amplified "sound bar". It is passive, needs an external audio video receiver and you need separate surround speakers.
