Calculated Industries 9130 TimeMaster II

As a DJ for KFSR 90.7 Radio in Fresno, CA. on the Sunday Blues Program from 4-6PM, I needed to be able to log computer times quickly, without having to do all of the minute/seconds conversions. Also, since some CD's don't list the song lengths, I needed a timer that could measure and do the minute/second conversion. This calculator is great, comfortable to use, has a lot of other helpful functions and memory. It's protective case also allows you to stand it up on your desktop where you can easily view it. (It has more applications that can be used for calculating for shipping, travelling, etc.) Cool tool!Catbaby.

All I can say is WOW! This is the easiest, fastest, and most professional time calculator I've EVER had! I work in Digital Broadcasting and need to calculate times between shows quickly. This calculator is unique with its rugged cover and larger-sized buttons. And it is simple to use with military, AM and PM features and formulas. I give it 100 STARS for everything! LOVE IT!!!

Hi, being the the TV and Radio Bus, timing the shows is a big deal. This unit make the time calculation perfect.The unit does alot more funtions too. This is what you need for video timer spot ETC. Even if your the pro or starting out this calculator/timer is an full loaded for edit timer calculator. Now the only bad thing if you have oily/ wet/ food dirty hands wipe them off this unit is not water, dirt, oil proof. As they say take good care of the equipment it will be there when you needed. This unit get alot of use 24/7 and wears good.

This is the Industry Standard time calculator. It's easy to use as either a regular calculator or as a time calculator, it has a countdown timer that can freely run or count down from a preset time. Sturdy feel to it, and there's a cover that flips around from the back to protect it in storage. Buy with confidence.

I purchased this but the plus sign doesn't work have to return it let's see how long this takes in the mean time I will use the other one I purchased

I do audio production for broadcast, and that requires precise time calculations. As anyone who tries to do time calc knows, it is tricky and not just straight math as the units change value once added or subtracted (Seconds to minutes, and Minutes to hours, and the reverse). The Calculated Industries 9130 make this an easy task.., I say this even though being used to doing it in my head, which sometime works faster for me, the 9130 is accurate and a big help to those not accustomed to calculating time on paper, or mentally. I use it for a fast double check of my work, especially when I have to check over several projects before releasing them to go on air. This is a useful gadget and fairly easy to use.

There is not much more to say about these excellent calculators this one is intended for working with Time and time calculations a needed product for me.A real shout out for the Armadillo case excellent protection for these calculators these are really great. I have purchased separately these cases for all my other calculated Industries products. If your reading this you are probably all ready a Calculated Industries customer and wanting to know how the product line is doing. I can tell you these are better than ever and worth every $ they cost. Do shop around and if your not in a hurry the prices fluxuate here on Amazon quite a bit.

I am a part time golf ranger and need to keep track of pace of play. I don't know about you but figuring elapsed time with any accuracy causes brain puzzlement and inaccuracies. This calculator allows me to figure pace of play and average time on each hole giving me a picture when golfers try to tell me otherwise. I am not using 1% of this instruments potential but for me it is all I need. Construction is quality and the lid is protection plus.

Without the open access case, the unit bis quite thin. It's a shame that since it does so many time functions, it doesn't have a clock.

Ich habe den Rechner gekauft, weil ich ohnehin einen neuen brauchte.Gesuchte Eigenschaften waren Batteriebetrieb oder Solar und Batterie und der Rechner sollte was aushalten.Das Gerät hier wird mit Batterie betrieben (im Lieferumfang enthalten) und die Schutzhülle hat bei mir bisher gut ihren Dienst verrichtet. Die ausreichend umfangreiche Bedienungsanleitung hat in ihr (unter dem Rechner) auch Platz.Das Gerät kann, was versprochen wird. Einfache Rechenschritte und eben umfangreiche "Zeitfunktionen". Für jeden, der Unterwegs so etwas braucht, kann ich das Gerät empfehlen. Wer das nicht braucht, schaut sich besser nach einfacheren Rechnern um oder nimmt gleich den im Handy.Ich habe ihn um Lenk-, Arbeits- und Ruhezeiten etc. zu berechnen. Kann ich grundsätzlich auch im Kopf, aber da Fehler beim LKW-Fahren recht teuer werden können, ist mir das so einfach lieber.

then this is most certainly the calculator for you.My job revolves around time and so this is absolutely invaluable.So much so that this is a replacement as I left mine somewhere and was bereft.Then, of course the obvious happened, and someone found it, and so now I have two.It adds up in hours, minutes and seconds, takes away, divides and is also a forward and back timer.Can't live without it.
