Works perfect
Works great as an exhaust fan for my 16x24 work shop.

Vibration
I did experience vibration on medium and high speeds. I think it is because there is a cage instead of a ridged shroud for the motor. Fixed problem with a metal strap holding the motor tighter to the cage and frame. The louvers seemed excellent. opened and closed with ease. Well made

Hmmmm?
I received the 16" EXHAUST fan along with the recommended programmable thermostat. I wish I had bought the 12" instead for garage, so it would be quiter and easier to install between 16":studs.If you mount fan as is, the fan will be setting inside wall space, which restricts fan from removing air out of garage or attic. My handyman decided to switch out short lag screws for longer ones. He also had to install 2x4's around opening to box in walls, otherwise you be removing air from inside your hallow walls.I think 14" would be a better size to manufacture, so it is easier to install between 16" studs, otherwise you have to notch out studs. Not a DIY in my opinion.Glad I had some small foundation vents put in previously because even on low, the 16" is a fast speed. Again wished I had ordered 12", but could not get feedback from seller on recommended size for typical 2 car garage. Someone suggested, 18" or 20", thank God I didn't listen to that bad advice. In the thermostat instructions it tells you that you can adjust the "Swing" setting all the way up to 9. I tried doing this to make the fan come on less. I thought it would allow thermostat to go above 90 degrees. This "Swing" setting does not override 90 degree max, which would also not work on the "9" setting on the "default cool" temps upper range of 82 or 85 degrees. This thermostat is sold with your EXHAUST fan (Instructons say for use with heater or air conditioner!) which would be used in an attic or garage. Right? It also says not to use in places wear gasoline or paint is stored. Right? Both of these locations are hotter than a inside living space. The thermostat you selected should allow a higher degree setting, otherwise the unit never shuts off in the summertime. Is there another Thermostat you offer with this EXJAUST Fan? Very frustrated 😠
