This item is perfect for a mom who worries about her child’s reoccurring ear problems. It’s affordable and has a pretty decent light. While you will still end up at the doctor if the problem is an ear infection it’s nice to feel like you can tell what the problem is. It does come with a small booklet with clear instructions AND pictures of normal and abnormal ears. It comes with many tips and it’s easy to clean!

Got this so I could look in my daughters ears so I didn’t have to waste a time going to the DR. I work in healthcare and compared to one that cost $$$ it gets the job done. Design of it is simple. You put batteries in the bottom and slide the side on. You put one of the disposable tips on and you’re set. Easy to hold nothing special there. Battery life is going to be based on the batteries you put in it. I probably won’t have to change my batteries for years unless you have to leave it on. For the price it’s totally worth it. You get what you pay for.

Easy to use and feels sturdy, but the light isn’t bright enough to see clearly. It does the job for basic checks, but visibility is limited.
