Its snowing in my city. Goin outside to play in the snow with my 4 yr old I saw foot prints leading from the street to mine and my husbands bedroom window. To put it VERY MILDLY I FREAKED! We live in a very small town and I'm ocd about locking our house all up whether I'm home or not. I bought these just to have a little extra safe feel. They are easy to install and make me feel a bit more secure! They do there job. Trust me! I tested EVERY ONE on EVERY WINDOW! The force is strong with these ones. Pun intended.

The bolt is angled in such a way, that only a very small cresent shaped sliver of the thumbscrew makes contact with the railing of your window, provided the railing it deep enough to fit these... If you're handy, you can make them work. If not, or you intend on taking the locks on and off? Move along.

These things are really good and sturdy easy to set up to your windows

These really suck! They are very small (not the normal size of the window ones you get at Home Depot) they have a flat ended screw which slides right off. We seriously had to use pliers to get a tight grip on window as well as use 2! One on top one on bottom (for windows we never open). They are very easy to unscrew so if you have a child be careful. Definitely wish I wouldn’t have gone off price but after quality especially for this one time purchased item
