So far so good!
Installation- Okay… I had to reuse MAF sensor screws from the old air box, otherwise there was a large gap from the MAF sensor housing and the sensor. Also, I didn't need to, but I cut the vacuum line on the top of the intake pipe in half just to make it look cleaner, and I decided to get some $3 hose clamps to clamp the vacuum line down. One month in- Sounds great, makes cool intake noises, no CEL or any issues yet:)2010 2.5L Mazda3 Hatch

Needs some work
This intake fit my 2010 Mazda 3 2.5L pretty ok, but I ended up making some adjustments. Overall you get what you pay for, and it does look pretty good for the price, but here's what I did for anyone interested:There's a small tube on the inside directly under the mass airflow sensor, for me this tube was in the way of my sensor and didn't allow it to seat properly. I think this little tube is only there to trick the sensor a little bit anyway by hiding a small amount of the airflow, which doesn't seem like a good idea anyway? I removed this tube pretty easily by drilling through the plug welds from the outside, then welding those holes closed after breaking the tube free. After doing this I had to smooth out the inside where I filled the holes, but once I got in there I realized how pour the finish inside was and ended up smoothing out where the factory welds were as well to maximize airflow.I also cut about an inch off of the filter end of the intake tube to allow a little more clearance for the filter itself in the engine bay. This might not be needed on other cars and it did technically fit without shortening, it just fits much better now!

Easy Install, But... No Instructions, Works Fine - GREAT PRICE
We installed this on a 2011 Mazda 3 Sport Hatchback with the 2.5 L engine with about 79,000 miles. It is our 16 year old son's car and is his first step in modifying the car (next is a cat-back exhaust system). The product does not come with any installation instructions (zero), but for the most part it is easy to figure out. We also watched a video from a competitor which helped.Ours came with a black hose for the crank case air box, even though the photos on Amazon and on the manufacturer's website show it to be red, matching the rest of the product. The black hose was a bit too large to fit tightly onto the stock crank case air box hose, so we used a small hose clamp to secure it. Our set also came with two aluminum pieces that look like they should be used to secure the filter in some way, but the filter and housing have no screwed connections. For us, we just tightened the large diameter hose clamps and it fits pretty securely. We have contacted the manufacturer to see if (1) can we get the red hose for the crank case air box like is shown in the photos and (2) can you tell us how the aluminum pieces are used to secure the air filter. Will update if we get an answer. Also a good reminder to be careful when removing and installing the mass air flow sensor, it can be a bit tough to get out and installed in the new system. After install, we started it up and went for a drive. No engine codes. You can really hear the air intake sound when the RPMs cross over 3,000. Feels like it has a bit more pep / torque than it did, but it could just be the sound we are reacting to.Overall, for the price I think that this is well worth the small challenges that we had to overcome. Comparable items are 3 to 4 times the price. Will update as we get a few miles on the car and dependent upon the seller / manufacture responds..

Easy installation and best price for a simple bolt on mod
This air intake is one of the best ones on the market for cheapest and not being a ripoff everything in the picture and from the other reviews is true it does make and or give your car more response and a little bit more power it also gives me better mpg and It allows me to hear my intake ways better and it's more louder you definitely hear it. It is a tight fit for the 2.3 motor because of the engine bay itself but It's definitely snug and won't be going anywhere and it was pretty easy to install it wasn't no Instructions but looking up the video on how to do it makes it clear
