This one does the job. Both the console and wii u game pad fit nicely inside without any problems. However don't expect it to pad your console for travel or items dropping on it. It's only meant to sit stationary on your entertainment center or table. Also, remove the dust cover every single time when the system is in operation. Otherwise, you risk your console over heating and becoming permanently damaged.Console Cover:It's made of a fake leather (don't expect a high quality fake leather) on the outer area for protection against light liquid spills. Your cats won't use it as a scratching post either cause of the outer lining material. Inner lining is a flannel type of material. Mine fits well and covered the console on all sides. Mine easily drops over the top of my Wii U and isn't difficult to put on. Back area has a cut-out for cables, but this is both good and bad. It's good because you don't have to remove cables but bad because dust can get inside the back vent. I like movable flaps on the back instead of a large cut-out.Game Pad Cover:Game pad fits in very nicely. Outer material is a fake leather and inner is a flannel material. Has a cutout for the cable for charging. Flannel inner-lining doesn't appear to leave any scratching.Negatives:Foamy Lizzard could've used a softer inner-lining such as a very soft and furry fleece like material instead of the cheap feeling flannel. Also, they've chosen to place their made in the USA tag inside which could leave scratching. I think if you just place it on carefully, it shouldn't leave a scratch.The back cut-out exposes a large vent for the system fan, and dust will build up and settle there, which will eventually find its way inside your console. Excessive internal dust and dried up thermal paste causes system over heating and eventual failure. If you're not using your Wii U for an extended period, unplug all of your cables and turn the cover around. Instead, the back cutout will only expose the front where you insert your game disks, leaving all of your console vents covered and dust free when not in use for an extended period (see photo as an example).Conclusion:I don't see a better option for the Wii U on amazon at the time of this writing. I recommend this one until a better option is available.

Despite a mild drawback, I actually love this dust cover. Furthermore, it's impractical to try to play your games with your Wii U covered, so I don't actually cover the main console unless I am transporting it. I use this dust cover to cover my controller all the time. It keeps the screen from getting dirty. The exterior is a faux leather substance, and the interior is and extremely thin fleece of cotton. Thin as it is, it's very unlikely to protect your hardware from impact trauma if you drop it, or something else happens. Don't be misled by the seller's name, Foamy Lizard makes a good product but there's not really any foam involved.

The best thing I've ever bought! There are certain times of the year when I don't even have the time to play any of my consoles and they would just sit there collecting dust. I always had to keep dusting them off but these are seriously amazing to have. It's just nice to know that I don't have to worry about dust getting into the console because there are some parts that are a bit harder to dust or clean off.

I looks nice on the picture but is not really worth it. Dont be fooled by all the 5 star reviews like I was. Sure the remote cover is ok. It closes and has a hole for the charger but thats about it. The material is too thin and weak its almost meaningless. The console cover is just that a top cover that fits right on top. Its not secured around the console. Dust still gets into the air vents on the side. I paid $25 dolars for this (said tp be half priced) and is not worth that kind of money. Ten dolars maybe but I wouldnt have paid more than that. Its not worth it. You could get a nerf armo, a new skin or travel case for much less and it would be worth it. I so much regret getting this but I cant return it.

Foamy Lizard once again doesn't let me down, i went with the white as it was cheaper in the long run, and it fits the system and controller really well. This is my fifth dust cover made by them and so far no complaints. I'm hoping they do a line of retro system covers soon.

Love it for the controller as it covers it entirely like a pocket, but the Wii console needs to be on side, instead of being upright, for cover to work.

To be honest, the product is a little different from what I expected. The Wii U cover is a little loose and the Game Pad cover does not fit perfectly. The material seems good.

Not as nice as the other dust covers I have from Foamy Lizard. One for my PS3 and one for my PS4 Slim. The one for PS4 Slim is awesome, the PS3 great, but not awesome. This version for the Wii U, pretty crappy. It has no form like the others. It's like it's from the 80's. Thin and cheap. I mean, it does cover the Wii U, just not very well. It came wadded up like the tissue in a pair of new shoes and that's about the texture of it.
