The lights are very good overall, however a couple things to note and a small complaint. Out of two rolls of lights there was one 10 cm section that the warm lights didn't illuminate. That being said, this wasn't a big deal because it is on the top of our cabinets and the lights are so bright that you wouldn't notice.So the only critical thing I have for these lights is that the manufacturer doesn't have connection kits that are made for these lights. I did try some generic connectors for the 6 pin solder-less ends but they didn't work at all. This resulted in me needing to connect all of my ends via solder. If you are good with a soldering iron that is fine but this makes it very tedious to connect all of the ends. One thing I did find that helped was a "splitter" for the hue lights that had the same style end. By using that I was able to avoid having to cut the wires coming from the supply and cut the splitter instead using that as the connection to the rest of the lights that I soldered together.Overall, I would say this is a good product, just be prepared to make some connections yourself.

I had to use option 2, which was to connect into the controller wifi.I was originally going to use this as my under cabinet lighting. However, the lack of additional accessories such as a splitter for the power to the LED strip and no additional connector or wire to allow me to separate the one strip into the 4 I needed changed my decision and I used these in one long strip in my lanai area. They give off a good amount of light, so it was a good decision.I will look for other brands which I can buy a separate controller (one that is Z-Wave or Zigbee compatible as well as Alexa compatible), and the necessary wires and connectors that I need to make the under the cabinet installation work as expected. I did like the RGBCCT type of strip, as it allows both a warm white and a bright white selection.

Updated 24 Aug 2020: I have to Give a 5 Star rating for the Customer Service here. They have kept in email contact with me during the entire process, from 1st purchase to a FULL product replacement. Thank you I still stand by this product for its functionality and quality however, I still will suggest purchasing LED connectors to ensure a Custom and Clean installation to ensure you dont have what happened in my previous update. Good Luck 🍀Updated as of 8 Aug 2020: came home to find my lights dangling from my TV and haven’t been up 3 weeks!!! Although I’m pleased with the flexibility of this Smart product for its compatibility with Alexa, I’m still VERY disappointed!!!INITIAL REVIEW: VERY disappointed!!! I’ve enjoyed other Lumary products. But NOT providing the necessary LED connectors that adds to a BETTER custom job for TV’s is SAD! Isn’t it obvious if I purchase LED light strips for a TV that I would need connectors to make a neater and better looking corners. Otherwise, the corners look like CRAP and the strip will start loosing its adhesiveness.

I had do hire an electrician, and even he had difficulty installing these. The adhesive just does not work, and the little nail brackets I got are so tiny they are hard to work with. I had to supplement the sticky with glue to make it work. The app is not great. When my partner added the lights to his app on his phone, all of the settings and connectivity disappeared from the app on my phone. I have two strands, broken into three segments that I had to use linkers to make a 90 degree turn, but the link was hard to establish and the colors between the three segments do not synchronize and I can 't pick colors by any color setting other than eyeballing the two sets of lights. Still, i really wanted undercounter lights for the ambiance and these do that.

The are two installation methods. The second is a backup in case the first one doesn't work. The first one didn't work, but the backup method was successful. But, after a few weeks, it lost connection to my network and I couldn't get it back. They tried to help, but to no avail.Got a replacement through Amazon in two days. This time, the first method worked, so far for two days.Installation is easy -- just follow the instructions. The lights are sticky on one side and they're holding up well. I just had to add a little scotch tape at a couple of spots where the tension is a bit high. They provide little brackets to use if needed, but I don't know how easy they would be to hammer in.Very easy to add to Alexa.

We really enjoy how easy the product is to use once fully installed and registered on the network! These were a complete nightmare to get connected to our community network but once we did, the app is very fun and easy to use. Thankfully we reached a rep with our internet provider who was able to help after several calls were made and escalated tickets. I will absolutely buy more strips now that we figured it out!Also, the brand did reach out to us to help with installation - keep in mind their offices are open M-F. It seems our problem was with our internet provider and our community access point settings. If you have a community internet package, do not give up hope - keep pushing with your service provider to create a personal access point for you. It will make your life so much easier with WiFi devices such as these lights!The lights are really really cool! We went from really frustrated to really happy. I feel bad for the brand having to defend themselves against poorly set up ISP's.Will recommend to my friends and family!
