I may be in the minority here, but I actually use this as a re-usable strainer for stocks. It filters as well (if not better) than multiple layers of cheesecloth but because you can just wash it, it'll pay for itself after a few uses. So far I have had very good luck with it. I will say that you have to remember that it's a bag, not cheesecloth, so you have to kind of aim the stock to make it in the bag. Obviously you want to strain your stock first using a fine mesh sieve then the final strain using the nut milk bag. Much safer and more effective this way.

UPDATE : Bag RIPPED after only a few weeks, about half a dozen uses. Not much use at all. This is probably a decent bag long as you do light and very gentle filtering. If you are looking for a true kitchen appliance, this bag is NOT it! Overall, I would not recommend for the price it is selling for.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have only used this bag a few times, so I can't comment on long-term durability. I mainly use it to strain an occasional Nutribullet smoothie, giving me a nice pulp and fiber-free fruit juice. This bag works great for that, and is very easy to clean up. I like it!

What a disappointment. I bought this on the strength of a highly favorable review on a prominent blog. It's expensive in relation to other bags, but I justified the purchase by telling myself I was getting top of the line. After only maybe four or five times using this bag, the bottom seam blew out and split. Very disappointed at getting such limited service out of a product that is several times the price of other bags.

I like this bag a lot. It seems very strong and durable. With that being said, I do try to squeeze gently with nut milk bags to make sure the seams don't get stressed too much. This is the stiffest bag I own and it has the finest mesh. On the plus side, the bag stands nicely in containers and keeps the particles out of your nut milk or juice. It will even stand up straight to dry after you wash it in warm soapy water. I would not put it in the dishwasher. On the negative side (and why I deduct one star from 5), the liquid tends to have more difficulty getting through the fine mesh and builds up in the bag, requiring more frequent squeezing. The bottom of the bag has rounded corners as depicted in the seller's photo. Overall, great bag.I will post an update after using it for awhile to report back on durability.P.S. Helpful Hint: Be sure to use the bag with the seam on the outside to prevent pulp residue from getting caught in the seams.

This has been my favorite nut milk bag so far. I had one previously set had gotten some holes in it due to wear and tear and squeezing too hard. So far I have not been able to tear this bag. It seems very high quality and I feel like I can really squeeze every last drop of my almond milk out. I also use this bag to make cold brewed coffee. if I know anyone that needs a nut milk bag I would definitely recommend this brand.

I use this nut milk bag to hold ground coffee to make cold brew coffee. It worked really well and made a very nice filter for it and all I had to do was lift the bag out of the container, open it and dump the used coffee out, and then wash the bag. So much easier and faster than using multiple containers and coffee filters. Less dishes makes this bag a winner.

This bag is great – I make my own yogurt, but had not attempted to take it one step further to make Greek-style yogurt. The Victoos nut milk bag made it easy. I appreciate the sturdy construction of this reusable bag, and it was easy to clean. I’ve never made nut milk, but am looking forward to trying. I bought two bags and plan to give one away as a gift.
