I'm critically thinking I bought the wrong book.
I thought this book had actual lessons and practical action plans. The book is filled (and I use this term lightly because almost every page contains only a paragraph or two) with fluff and common sense advice which I already know. I wish I hadn't purchased this!

If I could give this book zero stars, I would. It is written at approximately a third grade level, with grammar errors to match. Even the cover is awkwardly worded. He claims that we should be "develop our intellectual standards", but clearly has none himself. Awkward tense changes, repetetive chapters, and rampant grammar errors undermine his credibility throughout the book. It was clearly put together with more of an intent to reach an arbitrary 50 points rather that an the quality of the writing. The advice itself is insipid at best. There are a smattering of half-decent ideas buried in a mountain of self help buzzwords. Most of its epiphanies would fit best in a children's novel, and any decent ideas are not explored beyond a cursory examination.

Absolute Twaddle!
Don't buy this book. The ideas are not bad but when you are reading a book about something as deep as how you reason then some things have to be right; the book has to flow logically and naturally. I have not yet come across a single page without a spelling mistake (The book was printed in the UK but the spelling is American). The grammar, for English or American, is appalling. I should have known from the cover - "Get Logical Thinking" - but the book itself reads like Japanese instructions translated in Jinglish "This is a very crucial step" (Hint - it's either crucial or it isn't. It can't be 'very crucial'). Or "Train your thinking whenever you have a spare time". "It is factual that everything that's happening in our life is attracted by our thoughts". The book holds no authority on critical thinking because it itself has not been subject to critical thinking. It reads like a badly thought out sales pitch. "A good laugh will make acceptance of your weakness, which is unreflective thinking, easier". Its just plain twaddle. Save your money.
