Perfect replacement. Purchased for my E39 2000 BMWI started getting a small leak on the original unit, and after some general research these units are known to explode.Well worth the small investment in my opinion.FYI on the two bottom hoses there are little pins holding the hoses in place they look like a "U". Once they are pulled back work the connectors off by wiggling them, than pulling down. It took me a minute. I took my time because I did not have replacement hoses.Shipped fast!

Comes with nothing to it, no sensors, no blead screw, no cap. Otherwise fits perfectly.

Absolutely do not get this. I replaced this on my e39. I've had many bmw's and done lots of cooling systems on them. This started leaking below the bleeder screw within 1k miles! Hairline cracks are known on old tanks but not brand new. They wouldn't return it either. This seller is absolutely horrible. Spend 10-20 more and get the other ones on here. I got the 44 dollar one and seems much better quality.DON'T GO WITH THIS SELLER YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Replaced on my 2002 525iT. Perfect fit. All that plastic stuff under the hood starts to fail about the 8 year mark so if you plan on touching it, assume you are going to break it. Take the time to order ahead and have it ready if you really need the car.

Great replacement for any old or aged expansion tank anyone may own. But if you feel your coolant system is in need of changes or upgrades, do what i have and most have done as well.. REPLACE EVERYTHING that is coolant related..

Quality is not that good. finishing is awful.

It arrived on time. This is the exact fit for my 2002 BMW 530I (E39). I highly recommend this product for this vehicle.

I don't know if HAMMAN is an OEM supplier but so far so good and expansion tanks are a weak link in e39's.
