ESV Following Jesus Bible: English Standard Version

I bought two of these for two of my kids. The ESV is an excellent translation and the additional notes and graphics are great and very well produced for kids

This Bible is fantastic!! My son is so excited. I'm jealous a little because the extras packed in are so nice and full of great additional information. I'm starting seminary next year and may use his Bible a time or two lol

Very much like the product, great for kids

This Bible will not just be with your child as they grow up but will accompany them well into their adult years. It is a full-text Bible, so even you as an elder can read it. There are lots of Bible helps for the child. It has all that the product description promises. Pages, while thicker than of adult Bibles, could have been of higher GSM as kids would use it most of the time. In fact, it makes sense to print longer and wider Bibles so the thickness would decrease. My only complaint is that the font though probably bigger than most full-text Bibles is still too small for a lot of people. Since kids tend to place books close to their faces, it may not be an issue for them. But for us adults, it is! I have always wondered why Bible publishers do not come out with the font used in fiction and other non-fiction books, say 11- or 12-point. It makes reading and even studying the Word of God so much easy and fun, rather than having to hold the book close. ACROSS PUBLISHERS, THE BIBLE'S SMALL FONT IS A BIG, BIG HURDLE IN EVANGELIZING UNBELIEVERS! I have encountered close relatives saying, "But the print is too small for me." Large prints are priced big too :( ...Someone should take this matter up with publishers.
