Reversible Plush B&W Series #2 Pikachu Into Poké Ball ~8"

I bought this for my Pokemon-obsessed 5 year old and he loves it. Other reviewers have mentioned they were surprised by the size, but the description does say 8". I think that's about right - seems like a good size to me. I love that Pikachu can get tucked into his Poke-ball and come out of it - that's a big hit with my son. It's very soft, easy to reverse into the ball and back out, and generally a good toy. I haven't noticed any wear and tear and he's been playing with it every day since Christmas.My only complaint (and it's mine, not my son's) is that this toy has very little stuffing. The image makes Pikachu look quite full and plush, and he's not. In order to make the toy easily reversible to the Poke-ball and back, it has to be soft and flexible, not stuffed fully. So, either way, the toy looks a little distorted. The ball is not quite a ball, it's flat. Pikachu can either have a full face or full body, but not really both. Again, my son doesn't seem to notice this at all, but to me, it's not quite as high quality as it looks in the product image. That being said, I'm already shopping for other Pokemon that will reverse into the ball, so it's not a deal breaker.

I was expecting something large as well, maybe 11", but in actuality, the plush is only about 7-8".I was re-reading the description and when it mentioned 6 x 6 x 11, it's the packaging that makes it larger.Other than that, the quality of the plush is great. I can't remember the last time they made a reversible pikachu. I've been to boutique shops and specialty stores around my area in WA and most folks sell it for $25-$30.I love that you can reverse it into a pokeball, though pikachu almost never goes into a pokeball, it's a first!When you reverse the plush into the ball, it's a snug fit held together with velcro. I'm not a big fan of velcro, but this one holds up great. I would highly encourage all pokemon fans to purchase!

i love how the title description says LARGE plush. small/medium at best. the plush is quite adorable, but not worth what some are selling it for (i think $29.99 is the lowest right now...). i bought mine shipping and handling together for $15. (basically same price as toys r us). anyways, this toy is TINY. like 2 inches taller than a usual 6 inch plush for $5 to $7 at your local walmart. (making the doll a whopping 8 inches... saving you time to do math...). the matterial is VERY soft on the pikachu part. (but also VERY delicate) and reversed to the pokeball form (which was quite disappointing, because it doesnt hold together well since its held in form with velcro, and not a zipper like the old '99 minis...), its about 5 inches in diameter. but the fabric and stitching is tougher and not as soft. overall... its an ok collectable, and an ok toy... (the kids play with it more in poke'ball form than anything) BUT NOWHERE WORTH $30!UPDATE: Yay! they fixed the description! they stopped calling it a LARGE plush :) and they put the size... wish theyd have done that before i ordered... but hey, good for future buyers!

We were searching long and hard for a cute and affordable Pikachu for my daughter's friend when I found this. It was on sale and the shipping was free. It was a steal. 15" refers to the size of the box it comes in, but it was worth the money even at 8". I did not find a cuter, or better made Pikachu at the same price. Good ones are those made by Takaratomy or those from Official Pokemon Center which are all around $30 and smaller. He is adorable. Their friend loves it. We've even looked on eBay and they are also around $30 sometimes more with shipping, many are from Hong Kong and we didn't want to go that route.

This is a great size pokemon plush. His face is just like the photo. Very nice details and soft fabric. He is stuffed very full so he is firm. A high quailty plush with the bonus of being able to "turn" into the pokemon ball (by srunching him inside the fabric ball:) It made a nice gift for my 6 year old daughter and my 10 year old son said how cool it was.

My child got this for xmas and loves it so much. My child liked that it could change to a Poke Ball too, but later asked me to sew it closed so it would be easier to snuggle with. The velcro on this toy opens too easily for my child's preference and the velcro was scratchy to snuggle with. Once I sewed the velcro closed, it was an even bigger hit.

Bought this for my nephew and it was a big hit. It's easy to stuff Pikachu in the Pokeball without him peeking out through the opening and forms a perfect ball shape (not smushed-looking). I've noticed other plush dolls that don't always look like their character like the face is distorted but this Pikachu is spot-on.

My niece loves it. It does turn into a ball, but it requires some effort, not as easy as I thought. If the kid is too young, he/she may not be able to do the transformation alone. The material is nice and the workmanship is good. I believe it will last for a while.
