Would this work for Chex Mix, Pretzels or Cheez-IT's snack squares?

It would! As long as the pretsels are the twists, not the sticks. Chex mix and cheese-its would certainly be fine.

Would this work for Rice krispies?

This would definitely work for Rice Krispies!

Does it keep the cereal fresh? Our container usual make our cereal chewy after short time.

I bought this for a gift and they said it keeps their cereal fresh. Just as if it were in the box. They love it!
