Since the gun has not arrived I cannot say a great deal about the functionality. They are as advertised, they mic out according to specs, they are not as snug on the cartridges as I had expected but they will certainly accept and hold them and I expect eject them with no problem. Loading a full clip may be a bit more dicey but we shall see.

At first glance, I thought these moon clips were overpriced compared to the factory clips (which you can't even find at this point). However, after using these and the factory clips side by side, the TK clips are much higher quality. As other reviews have mentioned, the factory clips are very flimsy. I've only put a few hundred rounds through my 692 and I'm already having some issues with those clips bending, becoming loose, etc. The TK clips cost four times as much, but will probably last ten times longer or more. Well worth the purchase price...

I finally had the opportunity to test my new Moon clips out on the firing range. Unlike the original ones included with the revolver, these hold up much better during unloading. The original ones bend fairly easily, but these from TK are solid and reliable. Plus, I like the fact that it's easy to discern exactly what revolver they go with. If you own multiple revolvers in the same capacity and caliber, it can be easy to loose track of which clips go with which gun. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the product and will likely purchase more in the future.

I ordered these because Taurus is still a bit wonky about quality control. I had difficulty with the OEM moon clips when closing the cylinder and indexing the cylinder when firing. These solved those issues and unlike the OEM clips these are one solid piece and didn't break after unloading.

Overall these are a good purchase but don't be surprised if they wear out over time. I've ordered these 2×. The first ones lasted about a year before they wouldn't hold the rounds anymore. The second order has held up a bit better. Of the total 10 that I have received I still have 4 that are usable. I purchased a different brand that has a notch cut in the middle of each clip and they are worth 5 stars. When they wear out you can shove a #1 flat blade screwdriver into the notch and they'll hold the rounds again. Of the 10 of those that I have purchased all 10 are still in use, and i've only had to take a screwdriver to 3 of them.
