Lightning Reaction Reloaded Shocking Party Game – Electric Shock Challenge for Adults and Teens – Fun Party Games for Family and Groups – Unique Gift for Game Night

Damgerousssss!! Just kidding, but not for the faint of heart. My husband thought it was just going to vibrate and was holding 2 handles while I was trying to figure out how to get it to work. I accidentally put it on the highest level and he was shocked through both of the handles. Ouch! Anyway, he is still alive. I tried it on a lower level but it was too much for me. I hate getting static shock so this felt like that times 10. I would give it a 1 if it was just me, but our friends had fun playing it. My teens love it and have fun. It has been dropped a few times and still working so it is durable. It kept the kids engaged, they even use it as a penalty for losing other games. It would be great addition or substitution to a drinking game. Overall, it was good value for the money. My husband is encouraging others to try his double shocked experience.

Absolutely ridiculous. Family laughter.

Fun game, kids like playing it. The shock isn't that bad the anticipation and not knowing is worse then the shock.

This game is an absolute blast! It’s super easy to learn, and the suspense while waiting for the light to turn green keeps everyone on edge in the best way. The reaction challenge makes it really exciting, and the different shock levels add a fun twist depending on how brave everyone is feeling. It’s been a huge hit at gatherings, lots of laughs, friendly competition, and memorable moments. It works exactly as described. If you’re looking for a unique party game that gets everyone involved, this one definitely delivers tons of fun!

More than I expected. Hilarious if you can get someone to play it with you. I turned it on after installing 3AAA batteries and the shock was nothing more than a "bump" in your hand and if you hold onto it, it "shocks" you for three seconds. I was ok with that, nothing special, then I decided to wet my hands damp for better contact and the bump maybe slightly increased. I took it out of the box about an hour later again, and this time, the dial that turns it on, that I thought was for the volume was actually for the strength of the shock. Oh my! Did I give it to myself good! LOL. Now, it's not like a taser or anything like that, it's just a stronger jolt but doesn't go up your arm, it just stops in your palm. Nevertheless, I hate shocks more than most people, but this game, I just held onto it and kept testing myself and I was laughing. Great product, looking forward to playing with others, if they dare....

This toy is fun, dont get me wrong. But you can only sit around shocking yourself and your friends for so long until you all start wondering how low your IQs are. My friends and I played with this for about 10 minutes and were totally done with it and havent touched it since. At $20, that's about $120 an hour to be entertained. It might be fun at a party, but most people's reactions to it are that no, they dont want to get shocked so why should they play. It seems to pretty much be young males who are willing to do it, only one of my female friends would and she played once then quit. Also, the product feels pretty cheap. Well, REALLY cheap. It's light plastic. So light that when all for people are playing and lift up on the handles, the whole device just hovers in the air in front of everyone, held up by the cables. My product also doesnt seem to work quite as advertised. There is a switch for deciding if only the last person to click gets shocked, or if everyone but the winner gets shocked. However with mine that switch doesnt function right. Sometimes it shocks all three, sometimes just one, no matter how we set the switch. One more complaint, it doesnt shock consistently. We all noticed that at times it would shock AFTER it should have been over. We would get a small shock, then nothing, then a whole second or two later get shocked again. All said and done, for $20 it's about the quality I expected. If I had paid $100 for it and it worked like it does, I would be irritated and have returned it but for $20 I cant really complain too much.

This is clearly a device invented by a sadist... and I would love to give that person a giant hug! The only problem I have is nobody wants to play it (with or without me). Playing this game is ridiculously easy (last one to push their button after the light/noise stops gets zapped), but that misses the point. The absolute and unmitigated hilarity that ensues after someone gets zapped - especially for the first time! - is worth its weight in gold! I would say that it's probably not the best idea to play this with small children because the zap might be more than they bargained for. To be clear, it's not going to hurt anyone, but it's definitely an attention getter! And you might not want to scar your 5 year old for life. That being said, I have a 14 and 17 year old, and they already have whatever scars they're going to get from me, so, might I add, this has become my favorite parenting tool recently!! It's so much better than "I'll take your phone"! In fact, my 17 year old son is so apprehensive about getting zapped he hasn't even played it once! Now the mere threat of a zap due to misbehavior is enough to right the ship. The best part is either way I win! Him correcting his behavior to avoid the zap, or him actually getting the zap (and me thoroughly enjoying it) is a victory for all humanity. This glorious device now sits prominently near our dining table to serve as a constant reminder of the wondrous possibilities should things go [temporarily] awry. Thank you again to the inventors of this magical "toy"! Good times. And, yes, in case you were wondering: I do have issues. But some of them are solved with this toy.
