I purchased this to wear to a late September wedding. I wore it to dress up a navy lace fit and flare dress for an evening wedding, and I couldn't be more pleased! I used the ring to create a bow effect in the front and it worked so well!I wanted something to elevate and change up the look of the dress (that I'd worn to another wedding on the other side of the family), and it needed to be easy to pack. This looked lovely, arrived wrinkle-free, and looked SIGNIFICANTLY more expensive than it was! I got so many compliments and "where-did-you-get-that" questions! What a beautiful and economical way to get more mileage out of wedding guest dresses! :-)

This shawl is extremely pretty. In hindsight I really wish I had gotten one in silver or gold instead of black with silver. The black with silver stands out but on black the silver only would have worked much better. It was for someone else so I cannot exchange. It looks very nice, attractive, goes with pretty much anything, and the buckle holds it in place well. However, it is not a value for money. There were loose threads, the netting was sticking to my skin and any roughness pulling the threads. You have to be very very careful while wearing this. Also I see more loose threads. So have to be careful overall.

Because this shawl is see-through I was afraid it might be cheaply made. Not so at all. It's a strong, soft beautiful material that shimmers. The long fringes also give it a classy look. The lightwewight, plastic buckle matches perfectly. It would have been nice to have instructions on how to loop the shawl ends through the buckle but you can figure it out. The buckle is just the right size to hold the shawl in place, allowing you to pull it to tighten or loosen it with ease. It arrived very fast and was folded around cardboard, so no wrinkles. At this price I was surprised at the very good quality! It will be worn at an evening summer wedding so will be light enough to keep on outside without worrying about getting too warm. It's also a generous size; big enough to wear over the shoulders or several different ways. I'm very pleased with this shawl in every way & have already ordered another color.

Material was a little snaggy, not high quality cloth.
