I waited 4 weeks for it to even leave the manufacturer, and when I took it the range 4-6 days after I received it , it wouldn’t turn on. I went to 4 different store locations looking for the right battery , and after replacing, it still did not work. I want the laser but don’t want to spend another 2 months just to ship it there and get it back.

I purchased a GTO Green Laser ALMOST THREE YEARS AGO directly from Armalaser. Recently, I started having trouble with the laser not coming on or not turning off as it should. I called Armalaser. They said send it to us. I did. Got it back about a week later (very fast turn around). Works perfectly. They said it just needed a good cleaning. NO CHARGE. You just can’t argue with success!The GTO is a universal fit for any standard rail. The only difference between the models is the length of the flexible hand grip contact strip. The GTO green lasers are all the same standard rail mount.I use the GTO on a Kahr MK 40 with a custom made rail mount. I do not use the flexible grip mount strip but prefer the on/off contacts on each side of the GTO housing. Works perfectly for me.The laser itself is a solid, well designed unit. The battery can be changed without disturbing the aim point. The green laser is VERY bright. MUCH, MUCH STRONGER than my red lasers. Even in daylight, it is easily seen.The 3v DuraCell will last for about 15 hours of CONTINUOUS use. Obviously, the battery will last a great deal longer if you only use it to occasionally target the neighbors .... Hatfields vs. McCoys???I don’t use the grip contact strip for a particular reason. As I mentioned, the green laser is very bright and if you and the bad guy are in a dark situation, you immediately give away your position when you grip the gun. Maybe not the best tactical move you could make in some circumstances.The high quality of the GTO make it a good match for the excellent MK 40 and well worth the money.Read the one star reviews of the cheap lasers BEFORE you buy one of them.CORRECTION: Forgot the decimal. Make that 1.5 hours, not fifteen. Small point, big difference.Actually, the factory says about an hour longer than that.UPDATE: After about a month, the GTO started the same erratic on/off behavior. I called Armalaser on a Wednesday afternoon. Thursday, they shipped a NEW GTO to me.NO HASSLE, NO CHARGE. As I mentioned, the GTO was almost THREE YEARS OLD.If you want customer service, now you know who to go to.The new GTO arrived in the mail Monday. What else is there to say?
