Does not fit ceramic grill
The threaded collar is too short and does not extend past inside edge of ceramic dome kamado style cookers.Probably works great for 1/8 or even 1/4 sheet metal.Also, curvature of grill lid makes larger wing nut difficult to attach.

Don't skip on on this one!
Best thermomoter I could find for the price very accurate and would buy again if I needed one. Holds temp within 2 degrees and you can just feel the quality when you hold it. this was a little short for my large green egg and had to drill the hole out a little but so much cheaper replacement,
