How many grams of sugar does this have?

Ready Fiber contains 0g of sugar per serving.

Do you need to refrigerate this?

I no longer use the liquid benefiber. However I do use the powder and have for many years. It was recommended by my doctor after I had a colon surgery. In the past I did use a liquid and did not have to refrigerate.

Do you need to shake this?

Hi, Dorothy! It's ready to drink, no need to shake. It can also be added to any hot or cold food or beverages. Hope this helps!

Do you have any supporting evidence that this product actually lowers cholesterol? Not just fiber in general but this product? Thanks!

Hi, H. A. Tomasini! There is no research specifically on the Ready Fiber brand name. However, the fiber source polydextrose is a soluble fiber, which is a well-researched method of supporting healthy cholesterol levels. Here is a link to a peer-reviewed research summary on polydextrose and its role in lipid metabolism. https://www.intechopen.com/books/lipid-metabolism/polydextrose-in-lipid-metabolism Hope this information helps!
