Taste and cost
After reading all the reviews I still decided to try this. Very Dry, no color and tastes stale. So disappointed. Don’t Buy! Still trying to find a better choice for Easter. I believe Royal Caribbean is the better choice. They don’t have their Easter Bun listed on Amazon and on their website it says sold out

Authentic!
The best bun ever. My Jamaican husband said it was just like home. Very moist and flavorful. I will order again next Easter.

Bun is over priced and dry
I heard this product being talked about over the JA radio station. I wanted to give support to my culture so I ordered one right away. It came in the time period promised of course, and we could hardly wait to open the box. The first thought was, it did not come in a bag that we could put the bun back in to keep. Then I cut into it and was deeply disappointed because it was so dry. No one wanted to eat it. I eventually tasted it and the taste was not bad. I wish there were some moisture to it. I really think the price should not have been more than $15.00. I did not mind spending that much for it because I expected a superior quality product. I would not purchase this again even though the taste was not bad.

Moist, Flavorful ...just needs more fruit!
Born and raised in Jamaica. But was in Ohio during Easter and really wanted a bun so I took a chance on this. It was moist, good flavor. Definitely satisfied my craving. After I opened it, I stored it in a large ziploc bag to keep it moist. It held up great! Only gave 4 instead of 5 stars because it needed more fruit in it if your going to call it an Easter bun. It had everyday spice bun levels of fruit. And it was only raisins, there wasn't any other fruit. Easter bun is supposed to be a bit more special. But for people like me who don't have easy access to a Caribbean grocery store, it certainly does the job.

Disappointed with Bun Purchase
It was so dried out that it was unpalatable. Last year, I visited Jamaica late April-early May and bought one in a shop in Portmore, St. Catherine. It was the best-tasting bum I'd ever eaten; so, when I saw it on Amazon, I decided to purchase one. I was so disappointed ... the cheese was exceptional, though a bit pricey.

Fresh and tasty
This bun was very good but lack some fruit ( cherries ). Smaller that usual but flavor was great.
