Not a functioning button . None of them are

Q: Will this work on an iPhone 8 as well?

It doesn't work for the iPhone 7 model and at the time we found out apple changed the way you can just change out the button. It has to be programmed to read your finger print and to work with apples systems by apple only. I wouldn't risk it. We got it and didn't know until it wouldn't work and did our research. That is when we found out it would cost over $300 to get them to program and change my home button. Hence why I'm typing this message on a good pixel 2.
