0.8cm is smaller than the 1.2cm. The 1.2cm wikk hold about 10 sheets of heavy paper

Q: Would these work on the top edge of a cardboard file box for easy slide?

I would think so. They have a pretty wide mouth. I'm not sure I understand how putting then on the TOP EDGE of a box would make it easier to slide.
