Atrio Future Sonic 500-010 Mobile Earphones with MG7 Pro Technology, Onyx Black

Purchased these headphones on June 11th 2014. I will admit, the sound quality is amazing. Bass is spot on and treble is purrrrfect!! I feel as though I have heard things from my music off of my note 3 that I have never heard before. But that is where the good review ends. As stated, I have had these headphones for a little over a month, and the right ear is going out....already.....This may be caused bc the cable itself is very thin and feels frail to the touch.When you pay this much for a product, you expect quality, and that just isn't the case in this instance. I will be contacting futuresonics to see what can be done, and will update my review accordingly.I don't really leave reviews, but when a product costs this much and gives out this quickly, I feel compelled to do so."Update" : First I contacted Future Sonics concerning the one year limited warranty. There response was that these atrio sold via amazon.com are manufactured and distributed by a third party by that of Vitasound. Now that is disheartening and seems a bit misleading because I thought I was buying a quality product manufactured by the "source." I then contacted the third party concerning the warranty. It took about two days from someone at vitasound to respond. The lady told me to email a copy of my invoice as well as a warranty form. I did so before the end of the day, and haven't heard back from her, even after a follow up email.Today July 29th, I emailed Amazon, only because I wanted to see if they could get in contact with the manufacturer. I explained my situation, and in short order, I was able to get a full refund. Now that is what I call customer service and why I love shopping on Amazon. I just wish other companies showed such love and dedication for there customers.Still leaving one star, because a 100 plus dollar set of headphones should not go out a little over a month, and customer service from future sonics and vitasound left a lot to be desired.

I bought these because I was looking for a nice pair of dynamic earbuds with deep rumbling bass. My initial impression was, "meh!" Didn't blow away. But, being the patient guy that I am, I used them, wore them, played them and left em running for several hundred hours to break em in. Fired em back up and, "meh!" Tested them side by side with my vmoda vibes and the vmodas out shined. I just like something that rumbles my head an tickles my belly and these just didn't do it. I tried several cushions and didn't get the results I was looking for. Then, I grabbed my MEElectronics buds, and OMG!! That's what I'm looking for.2 stars may be unfair, but, these fell below my expectations for a bass head like myself. They sounded fine, just, didn't blow me away and hurt my ears a bit. I played with several bass settings on my player and nothing really grabbed me. I don't like the cushions much either. I use the largest rubber cushion on my other buds and these have 2 sized tiered cushions that are comfy, but don't quite seal. They also have 3 memory foam cushions that seal better, but, no change in dynamics. These earbuds have a very narrow tip, so, you cant use other cushions.I returned them and bought another pair of MEElectronics. If you like bass, check those bad boys out.

Here's information you'll want to know:This is a limited version of the Atrio with MG7 Pro driver (EXACT same earpiece as in this:  Atrio Future Sonic 010-045 Earphone with MG7 Pro technology (Onyx Black) ) in which the cable has a built-in microphone and hardware button, allowing you to use it with a smartphone to make calls, and also pause/resume music and skip to the next song by pressing the hardware button. There is only one hardware button, that is, there's no volume control like other products.This is NOT the cheaper Atrio X Mobile! Amazon has put the wrong photo in this product!This limited Atrio MG7 Pro Mobile version was produced only once and will NOT go back into production according to Future Sonics because they have their own other plans about this. Future Sonics itself hasn't got any of these Atrio MG7 Mobile left -- all those that were produced are now in the hands of third party distributors, which is the case here in Amazon.The standard Atrio MG7 Pro costs the same, or maybe even slightly more, than this product. HOWEVER the cable (and the connector jack) in this mobile version is NOT the same QuietCables(tm) II as in the standard Atrio MG7 Pro -- it is a lower grade cable, which is still good anyway, but do keep in mind that if you choose this product you're choosing a trade off, not simply getting more for the same price.Finally, this product has the AHJ wiring scheme for the connector plug, which is compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and S4. I can't say anything about other smartphones because I haven't tested, but I THINK it will work with most recent (< 3 years) smartphone.

My ears are jacked up so I need custom molded inserts to realize the full potential of these for IEM use as a bass player. But with the inserts provided the earphones are comfortable and outstanding in sound quality (especially low mhz). I don't want to spend $1000+ so these are a very good alternative.

Great sound at both lower and upper endsThis is my second pair, the first I left on a plane! Couldn't live without them and wouldn't settle for anything less.

Out of the box sounds great! Bass bumps, with good mids and highs. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.
