KYBKG5744 Gas-a-Just Gas Shock

I’m going to start with saying these shocks look and ride extremely well only replaced the front so far and planning on putting the Monroe load adjust in the rear to give more towing . As far as the shocks go I would have given them 5 stars because I love the ride they give but the hardware that came with them is garbage broke off to bolts trying to tighten them down and just ended up replacing all the hardware if it came with better hardware would have given them 5 stars

First, this is a great shock. It rides beautifully. Secord, this shock wasn't shipped in an Amazon box. It was just the shock box. Third, two different boxes had either missing some hardware, or all of the hardware. The bolts are 4.8 grade. I would've like to seen at least 8.8 hardware.

Just installed them last week and the shocks are great. The only downside are the screws and nuts coming with it. I used them on the first shock I installed, and was not able to tighten them. They stripped right away, and it was a pain to get them off again. Very poor quality, don't use them! I would recommend the manufacturer to not include any screws at all, than these low quality ones.

Kit comes with lower grade (SAE 4) bolts and nuts. Replaced with 10.8 grade. Otherwise happy.

I have been using this shock Gas Adjust on all my cars (Struts). & Jeeps (Shock) for over five years . I beleave its the best all around for the money. Plus they last longer then other US made competition in the general price range. I recommend them.

These have smoothed out the roughness of the OEM shocks on my 2004 WJ. So far I'm pleased. Fours stars for the install kit. While the nuts/bolts are added (and appreciated) to replace the OEM uses studs. The included ones are a bit soft and will snap easily when tightened. Will probably replace with harder stainless units.

Installed on a 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE V8 4X4The OEM shocks were still working very well. But Chrysler valves the OEM's soft for a smooth ride. The Jeep was bottoming out when hitting dips at higher speeds and high body roll in corners.These shocks firmed up the suspension by about 20%. In corners, it is way more stable, no rocking when coming to a stop and smooth but confident highway ride. They fit excellent! They were actuall 1" taller than factory.Love them, buy them!

Delivered in 2 days.. Installed all 4 shocks in 35 minutes.. the ride is awesome.
