Did the job
I am a mom, RN and MTB coach ..tried these pads to help heal the variety of abrasions seen on my kid, and other teens that ride on our MTB team. The healing time lapse video intrigued me. I have been giving some of the pads away to let others try, then I had a chance on my own teen. They had an elbow abrasion, which I initially used a medium pad for but where it was at seemed to allow the edges of the pad to pull away...so I cut down the adhesive of a a small pad and place 2 pads over the abrasion. Bottom line after about a week, the abrasion was healed wonderfully. Great product to protect and allow an abrasion to heal!

Worked Great!!
My 14 year old granddaughter was on a dirt bike on a dirt road here in TX and hit a run. Of course she was only wearing shorts and a tee shirt. Road rash all over. She was in so much pain. I ordered these, they came in 2 days. The next day I asked how she was and her whole face lit up and she said "These things are great!" She had very minimal scars. Thank you!

Check expiration date before opening the package
Check the expiration date on the bottom right corner on the back of the package before you open it.Ordered a medium & large package. Both arrived April 28, 2023.The medium package has expiration date of May 4, 2023.The large September 2025. Which made me question the useful shelf life of the medium package. The bandages might be fine when I need to use them but they will have been way past their expiration date. So, I returned the medium package.

A must have for kids!
These are unbelievable! My son wrecked on an electric scooter, and was one big road rash. We ordered these and they arrived very quickly! We did just as the box said and while the ones on his hands did fall off, the ones on his elbows lasted longer and the ones on the knees held on strong. After 5 days we removed the ones on his knees and were amazed! One knee was almost completely healed and the other was well on its way. We just placed a new one on the knee that was the worst. It really does seem to help with the pain as well. I wish I had known about these sooner, we will always have these on hand now! If you have a busy kiddo, who is also a little clumsy then you NEED these, trust me!

Holy Cow, I'm Blown Away!
TL; DR - these bandages are amazing. I'm truly blown away. Buy them and keep them in your first aid kit so you're ready for your next "oops."Several months back I experienced a fall & road rash during a power walk. Long after I was healed, I found CrashPads and put them in my first aid kit "in case there's a next time."Unfortunately, "next time" arrived this week. I fell and skinned my knee really bad in two places. I cleaned the wounds really well (ouch), applied the CrashPads, and crossed my fingers. I kept them on for 2.5 days. The bending of my knee from walking caused one (of two) bandages to come partially unstuck. Even though I removed the bandages after only 2.5 days, the healing progress thus far is **amazing** and I'm completely stunned. THESE ARE THE REAL DEAL.Small warning: as a few other commenters have stated, there was quite an odor when I removed the bandages. This was unexpected. Since these bandages work amazingly well, I can over look the smell.

Beware of stated size
I am using two now for the first time. The stated size is 2x3 but the pad is only 1x2, smaller that what I thought I ordered. Hope they work.

Seeing is believing
I was a bit skeptical that these things would really work. I was blown away when I saw how well they did. I went down hard 10 days ago while riding down one of our local canyons (hit gravel in the road while going through a turn). I broke my clavicle (of course) and sustained road burns all down the right side of my body. After removing the original dressings put on at the hospital, I applied as many of the crash pads I had on hand. (I had been given a packet a couple of years ago by a friend to try out.) After wearing them for several days, I decided to swap them out for some new ones. I was blown away by how well the road burns had already healed, particularly in comparison to those places (smaller and less deep) where I didn't put the pads.If there is a downside it is that sometimes the pads don't adhere very well and start to peel after a couple of days. However, this seemed to happen mostly when we didn't do a very good job of placing the pad or when it was placed in a difficult place, like over a joint. Even then, the pads worked tons better than anything else I've tried. Also, I had to replace a couple of the pads after a few days because they developed a foul order, or the skin underneath them did. I'm guessing this just goes with the territory when dealing with healing open wounds. This was quickly remedied by replacing the pad.Over all, the pads worked better than anything I've ever tried or seen. I just ordered another set to have on hand in case I ever need them again.

Made it worse
My boyfriend got into a motorcycle accident and had road rash on his arms and back. I placed these in the areas, some didn’t even stay but the others when taking off ripped off the scab and was very painful. Would not recommend.
