I searched for the "seeded Glass" version to save a few bucks - only around $27 for that version. There's also frosted glass and clear glass versions of this same basic lamp if you search around enough.Mine resides on an ordinary picture hook - if it falls on my face at night, it's all may bad - easy to mount, with the handy little switch just above head board level and the fact that it's a CORDED lamp makes this perfect to use with a "BN-LINK BND-60/U47 Indoor Mini 24-Hour Mechanical Outlet Timer" to turn on with a nice bright light bulb at 7:30 AM every day and shuts off at 9 PM to mimic summer daylight hours so I don't get... Um, whaddaya call it, premenstrual winter syndrome depression or whatever when the days get shorter.I use Amazon's nice bright "A19 LED Light Bulbs, 100 Watt Equivalent LED Bulbs, Daylight 5000K" with mine,Would I buy it again?? Indeed, I just ordered another!Pardon my meandering discourse.

I bought the seeded glass one.It’s the perfect plugin wall lamp for me.I needed to replace a floor lamp I had, and place this wall lamp on the same wall my floor lamp was standing in front of.The new wall lamp has the same lighting as my floor lamp. But what a big difference for me, that I am able to no longer have a floor lamp.The glass shade and the fixture itself is beautiful. I’m absolutely in love with the style and look of it!

These lamps were easy to install. They provide exactly the right added light in my kitchen.

I needed a wall sconce like this and loved the pretty globe, but while assembling the wall light, the globe easily broke. If it had been on the wall and knocked into, it may have cut a human/pet walking nearby. I did still need the base part and found a replacement globe much stronger to use and it works great in the garage for additonal lighting as needed. I would not say to anybody NOT to buy this because it is very pretty and practical and useful. Just beware of the delicate glass shade around children or where it could be easily bumped into.I like the longer cord and the on/off switch is located in a more practical placement making it easy to use and reach. The ONLY reason I did not give it all stars is because of the thinness of the glass. Everything else is workable.

I have it set outdoor, just water proof clear coat spray paint and water proof the switch with cable runner good to go. Very Beautiful and simple light fixture

We needed a light for a pantry we just built in our house but didn’t want to mess with wiring a light fixture. We bought this light and mounted it on the wall and it works great! The only thing is, I wish the cord to plug it in was a little longer- we wanted a higher mount so needed to use an extension cord.

I needed a small light to fill a small space. This fit well and is an ok quality but not very bright

Have a closet without wiring for a light. Went through plenty of led battery options and those always failed. Decided to get this and ran an extension cord under and out the closet door tothe nearest outlet. Re stays pluggedin all the time and he uses the switch to operate the on/off. Its bright and works exactly like we needed. Lights up his whole closet.
