Works great
So who's PO'd about Google Android not supporting Mirroring to a TV? One word "STUPID". So they force you into buying a Chromecast to mirror and it turns out the latency on that device is absolutely the worst. I sent Chromecast back. Did some research and found this device. I'm using this on my Samsung Note 8 and Moto Sylist G5 running Android 8 and 11 and they both worked without a hitch. Just make sure you download the Miraplug app and not Easycast. Easycast did not work even though they mention it on Amazon description. It has very little latency (especially compared to the horrible delay with Chromecast). The picture is ok considering that you'll be enlarging from a cell phone all the way up to a 60"+TV. The color rendering from the phone is accurate. Also the fact that you can charge the phone simultaneously while hardwired viewing is amazing. An let's not forget you can connect a Bluetooth speaker for sound. Good stuff .

Lifesaver!
OMG I was so nervous in ordering this and worrying that it was not going to work. So first things first, I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. but that is not the case that I'm going to be using this on. I am fixing to throw a Halloween party and I need this device to use it on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E and that's why I'm so nervous and worrying and hoping it will work on. I have looked up the reviews and comments on it and didn't really found much. but in the end I had to take my chances. After as soon as it came in the mail, which was really fast. I hooked it up and tried it, it took me awhile to figure it out but after a couple of minutes I got it to work and man! I am so happy and thankful that it works!!!👍 so I give this to thumbs up and a lifesaver! because it works awesome!

didn't work with my phone
They need to provide a list of the phones it works with. At the very least a link to a list of the phones it will work with! Couldn't get it to work with my Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro.Had to enable Developer Mode and USB debugging. When you plug it into the tv, you'll get a QRCode to use in Google Store to get the right EZCast App. It couldn't find any devices to connect to. There is a Roku TV & Roku 4 and Samsung TV plus my Inspiron laptop. I downloaded EZCast for my laptop and it still couldn't find any devices to connect to, so I'm returning it.From the interface I'm not sure it would work with the Mobdro app on my phone anyway. Since the J7 doesn't come with MiraCast I have several apps to mirror my phone to my Roku TV. They don't always work though. They'll connect and immediately disconnect. And then sometimes they work great. I've no idea why?! I hoped a tethered hdmi cable connected to my tv or laptop would solve that and I would finally be able to watch Strictly Come Dancing live on Saturday and Sunday! So, not really important in the grand scheme of things, but the phone screen is pretty small to watch people dancing on. Oh, well..... May your experience be different from mine.

Works pretty good
It works pretty good. Sometimes it makes weird robot sounds but I'm pretty sure that is due to my bad signal. You have to install the Mira Plug app... Which I'm pretty sure I'm being spied on now. But anyway, if you're cool with potentially nefarious strangers watching along, then here you go, a wired mirring solution. I think it's more secure than Bluetooth. I always unplug it when not in use. Only problem I've encountered is sometimes my tv doesn't recognize the format of the mira stick, but I found a solution for that, so it works fine for me now. Here is the tip for if your tv doesn't recognize the format:Unplug from the wall and replug while it's plugged into your tv and your phone. Something about it resetting while plugged in magically makes your tv recognize it.

You need the MIRA PLUG APP to MAKE THIS WORK
Just to let you know. You need the MIRA PLUG APP to MAKE THIS WORK. I tried all kinds of connectors and nothing else worked except this. I have the MOTO G7 PLAY PHONE. Install the app first, then connect your phone and power up the USB connector, a screen will pop up on your flat screen TV asking for permission to connect after that a screen will ask for BLUETOOTH to connect for sound. The picture is great and the sound is great. Everything that is on your phone is now on the big screen. This method will work with just about any phone. Your phone does not have to be HDMI capable.

works fine but charging cable is very short
the picture/audio quality is great, because it's an HDMI cable, but the secondary cable that provides power (regular USB so you can either plug into a laptop or into the wall via a USB power brick) is incredibly short. I had to move my power strip with all the TV crap plugged into it as far as it could possibly reach from the outlet, plug in a USB power brick on the furthest outlet, and even then the cord is stretching to its limit. everyone has a hard time reaching behind TVs to find power so why does the cable have to be so short??also, the app that you have to download on your phone in order for this to work is pretty sketchy. it's like a Chinese knockoff that I'm pretty sure is stealing all your data but hey it's functional.

Great buy
Excellent product....was suprised by the quality...Had been mirroring for years using wireless, was fedup with the lagging.....Had a problem though....have an older model phone Samsung A50 and the so called pundits were saying, NOT MHL COMPATIBLE (thought I had to buy a new phone)...RUBBISH....This setup put an end to that argument....had a problem not getting sound.....4k cable far superior to wireless in quality and sound...The recommended app for mirroring is crap....I used EZ Cast....was impressed, so I bought another one.
