MALOUFZ Shredded Gel-Infused Memory Foam Pillow with Soft Rayon from Bamboo Cover - Travel Size, Dorm Room Essentials

1) Preferences for pillows are highly personal; 2) It's best if one understands one's spine and frame, especially if ordering a pillow without having tried it; 3) I bought the travel-size pillow here and couldn't be more happy with it. I rolled it up, secured it with a Velcro blanket band, and included it in my carry-on to Europe. I bought it specifically because I was able to fly business class and wanted a pillow for lying down. It fit my needs perfectly: The right kind of support for my c-spine, which has a fusion and bulging discs; decent loft for sleeping on my side; soft, luxurious cover; recovers from being compressed; great price; and, by virtue of not noticing it get hot or uncomfortable, it stays cool. I continued to use it at my friends' flat; in a hotel; and in an Airbnb in Paris. Since I've returned home, I'm now using it as an extra pillow in my bed.

The loft of this pillow is high enough that my shoulders do not crunch while side sleeping. It took a couple weeks to break it and for the loft to relax a bit. The dimensions of this pillow are small and convenient for travel although it is a bit heavier and firmer than I expected. The cover is soft and easy to remove for washing. Overall good for travel but not as comfortable as a standard size memory foam pillow.

This is not a soft pillow, but that’s not what I wanted. I searched forever to find a pillow to actually SUPPORT my head. For years I’ve had shoulder pain from sleeping on my shoulders to hold my head up. Finally I bought the high loft firm pillow by this same company and it’s changed my life. So I travel a ton for work and I now can’t live without this pillow both for work and when I’m home. It’s SUPER FIRM. Don’t expect a spongy, typical pillow. This one is different. I LOVE mine. If you’re new to it, it may take some getting used to, but for me, it’s exactly what I needed. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on pillows and finally landed on the perfect brand.

This pillow is beyond firm, it is like sleeping on rolled up towels. There is some give and then it's just hard. Really uncomfortable. The travel pillow here is just awful. I returned it after trying it for one night. Got both a headache and neck ache.

Cool little pillow. Very comfortable. Just the right size for travel. I also use it for extra support on my bed. I recently broke my neck and this little pillow helps support my head and adds comfort. The case is soft. Very soft. I want another one.

For my use, its a bit too firm and thick. It makes my head sit far too forward for sleep. However, when I'm awake and watching tv/computer whatever its quite nice. It seems quite well made and should last a long time, just be aware that it is pretty thick.

The best thing about this pillow is the depth, as I found it to be very firm and supportive. So many foam travel pillows are too soft and/or too thin and flat once any weight is put on them. The size is good for travel, although it is a little bulky, but it worked out fine in my checked bag. I wasn't sure about the shredded foam but it's not lumpy or apparent when you're using it that the foam is shredded. I bought a zip-on cotton travel pillow cover at a chain store and that fit great, as I don't always want to use the plus covering. Happy with the pillow and glad I have it!

PROs:- Quality- ComfortCONs:-NO COOLINGBasically, this product fails at the main feature it provides - there is ZERO cooling going on. The material of the cover itself is very warm to touch. Even without the cover, there is no cooling effect. No comparison to my other cooling pillows.I am very disappointed and will be returning the product.

I've traveled with this pillow all over the world. Although it takes up about 20% of my carry-on baggage, it is so worthwhile. I used to have terrible sleeps in hotels because the pillows are never firm enough. At home I have a posturepedic high density memory foam pillow. Because of a shoulder injury, I need the extra support for my neck and shoulder especially when I lay on my side. This little pillow is like a mini version of the one I have at home. It provides me with the support I need and has prevented numerous headaches due to neck and shoulder pain.

I won't invest much time writing review of this useless product. I'd just sum-up this product as it's no way near to the level of comfort one would expect reading the product description. One can't feel even an ounce of "gel" in this pillow. Seems a regular pillow. To add, its much smaller than a regular size pillow and the height of this pillow is so much that one would definitely have a severe neck pain, hence I won't ever recommend this product to one who already have such pain.For me.. it's not worth paying for. Go for a good gel pillow if you are really looking for one..

This pillow doesn’t go flat. It keeps its shape and is comfortable. It does take up a bit of room to pack but I would rather have comfort.

Great pillow with perfect firmness, has no smell & has a plush cover, my only complaint is that it takes up a lot of room in a suitcase and it won't compact
