Yes yes yes
I'm so glad I got this, I got it as a third base station when I ordered my index, but it sady came with a broken base station so this one saved me, it connected and works great with my index and 3 trackers it is a little shaky and you can hear it but that could be user error, I've had it for almost 2 years and I'm so glad I got it, I'll be getting another one hopefully soon

Questionable Steam Policies / OverPriced
Like 90% of other reviewers, I was forced to spend the extra $50 for the same product with out a wall mount, so add another $15+ to get the same product you, should, be able to get from steam, but when there is only one manufacturer, they get to set the rules. That said this base station has been working as intended for the short time I've had it, it'll be interesting to see which last longer, Steam does a much better job of shipping these base stations.

Base station, Microsoft platform, Steam--who knows?
My system didn't even recognize this thing!Of course, I can't give ALL the credit to the base station, I AM working on a Microsoft-based machine--so things like this are not uncommon.Perhaps, it's a STEAM issue. Don't know. Don't care anymore. Blood pressure won't let me continue fighting!

Shipping can damage base station
These things work great, you'll find yourself here because steam refuses to restock these. For someone desperate, paying the extra $50 for the same product with no mounting hardware is your choice. I was in need of a 3rd due to PlaySpace lighting and coverage issues. Ordered 1 and it shipped relatively quickly. Died about 2 weeks in so I sent it back to amazon and requested another one. Replacement arrived with red light of death already appearing, so I am now returning that one with a new replacement on the way. I have found most of these break during shipping due to how fragile they are. Amazon customer support is great and refunds you no problem if it breaks within 30 days, if not good luck with HTC support on replacement. If it survives shipping it should be good to go. Ill update if any more issues occur. No news is good news.

Good when it works
I ordered two 2.0 Base stations and they arrived in good time, I was very pleased with how fast the shipping was.as I opened the package though I was very disappointed with how it was packed. One flimsy strip of bubble wrap and that was it. The base stations could easily freely move around in the box they were shipped in. I tested both and only one works. I'm surprised that even one works. as for the other one I plug it in and it seems alright for about a minute. it does the usual LED flashing blue then turn green. after that though it flashes red signifying hardware failure. The working one works great though tracks perfectly and I have had no issues with it. just really disappointed in how Amazon shipped these.
