DAWOO Floor Fan 20", 125W High Velocity Industrial Floor Fan with 3 Speeds Electric Portable Cooling Fan for Gym Workshop Warehouse with Tilting (20Inch, Black)

I had one of these types of fans' before, a Honeywell brand. It was approaching 20 years old, and suddenly died on me, so invested in a new one. Wow, it is so powerful, even on the number 1 (of 3) setting. It's like a mini hurricane. I have it a good 15 feet away from where I sit, and it is really extremely effective, and very cooling in this heatwave. I was contemplating getting a small one for the bedroom, as the 2 regular fans I use don't really do the job properly in hot extreme weather, whereas this definitely would..I'd say it was good value for money, and I'd be amazed if there was a better fan out there. I guess the only couple of negatives are it's quite noisy (but I don't mind that if it's keeping me cool), and it doesn't oscillate. It was really easy to assemble (even though my 12 year old son thought he'd surprise me by assembling it, but put the bracket on wrong, so it looked like legs instead of a bracket, bless him).. Highly recommended if you want a very effective fan!!

Bought this fan for my gym.in the shed which gets warm during summer or doing long workouts. Brilliant bit of kit. I had a small speaker playing tunes in the gym and I couldn't hear the fan at all yet it was powerful enough to be kept cool. Would recommend for gyms or even at home.

Very powerful and needs assembly but isn’t too difficult

Well cooling down a room this fan does really well. As soon as you switch it on, you can feel the difference. I definitely can't fault it there.It seems to be well made and sturdy.The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because it's very noisy. I think I was expecting something like a normal desk fan sounch, but this does sound a little like a helicopter hovering near by. If you have it in a confined space, you will definitely notice it. The tv has to be turned up a few notches for sure.That said, this is a mighty powerful fan so if that's what you want this will do the job very well.

Honestly dont both with those bargain plastic fans that are fiddly to assemble and sort of gently move warm air in different directions. I bought two of these as the weather was getting too warm and I have zero regrets. It takes about 45 seconds to assemble the bracket once you take them out of the box, no need to assemble the blades or the cage.. just one screw into the bracket and you are doneThey are enormous, more akin to Gym fans that the usual weak office fan. I use one in my childrens room and one in our living room. The instant effect it has on the air, moving it from heavy and warm to light and breathable. Sitting in front of one is a real treat when the weather gets too hot! They are metal, heavy and sturdy. I can see these lasting a long time. One small detail I loved is that the on "switch" is not a button but a dial on the back. In other units I have had its the buttons that end up failing before the fan does, I like the dial option on these10/10 would buy again

Had one of these before which served me well over the years. Very sturdy and much better than the fans which are on stands - these I found to be less robust.This floor fan is highly recommended - in a heatwave I didn't need to go to the. highest setting.Would buy again in a heartbeat.E Sanderson

I bought this fan for my home gym. The gym is South facing with 2 full sides made of glass and it gets hot even with only a little sunshine on it.There are some reviews that say this doesn't blow very well and it's noisy!! Well it's a fan ! The blades have to spin and push air through to cool you down so yes it dose make some noise but nothing I wasn't expecting from a fan of this size. Put my music on and I carnt hear it so all good.As for the air flow it has 3 settings and I think iv only ever put it on number 3 once it blew all my work sheets around the gym and was actually moving the resistance bands ( which were hung on the wall ) on the other side of the gym.It's been awesome through the hot summer we have had in the UK and I'm definitely glad I got it it gets 5 stars from my 👍👍

For the ones looking for a storm this is the one . Big but not to noise amazing for cooling rooms down

Montage très rapide, juste le pied à emboîter, look sympa; ....mais il devrait préciser dans le descriptif que pour le brancher c'est une prise anglaise !!!!! Donc grande a été ma surprise en sortant le ventilateur de l'emballage. J'ai dû investir en plus dans un adaptateur pour prise française.Je l'ai pris pour ventiler mon salon de 45 m2 , il fait le job. C'est un ventilateur industriel, du coup : niveau sonore, sortez les boules quies :-). Le bruit est nettement plus important qu'un ventilateur classique, même sur le premier niveau (décibels mesurés par une appli : au plus bas 68 décibels environ et au plus haut 78/80 décibels). Pour ma part au bout de 2 heures mes oreilles saturent. A éviter pour des petites (et même moyennes) pièces.Le câble d'alimentation n'est pas très long (1,45m), prévoir une prise pas loin ou une rallonge.Il a l'air globalement de bonne qualité, robuste, à voir dans le temps. Mais les 2 points "noirs", que sont la prise anglaise et la bruit, font que je ne le recommanderais pas particulièrement.
