Amish Casual Heavy Duty 700 Lb Roll Back Treated Porch Swing with Hanging Chains and Cupholders (5 Foot, Dark Walnut Stain)

I'm a big guy- 6'2", 300 plus pounds- and as my other Amish bench (non-swing) creaks a little bit, I was a bit leery about this purchase. Still, I went ahead and built a strong metal base to hang the bench off of. My brother, the architect, had me put in a concrete base and had built for me a steel frame. I spent much more on the frame than on the bench, so would have felt a bit embarrassed if the bench ended up breaking under my larger than your typical Amish weight. I need not have worried, the bench was sturdy and stable! For my purposes, the chain included hung well from an 8 foot distance, once I included the recommended springs. I bought a cushion to fit the bench (58 inches is pretty perfect), but find that the bench is so comfortable that it doesn't really need the cushion. I had a little trouble lining up the holes- more due to my lack of craftmanship than any misalignment- I couldn't see the holes to line up, so it took a few minutes!

There is not much to say. It takes some very easy assembly and it is very sturdy. It was pre-stained at the factory and is comfortable to sit in. Although not a negative, it is a bit heavy for one person to work with if you are a bit handicapped.

This porch swing is very high quality, sturdy, and beautiful. It is easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and so comfortable. My only complaint is that the cup holders seem a little shallow. I've had several drinks fall out and spill because the cup holders aren't very deep. Even with that being said, this swing gets 5 stars. It is amazing.

This swing was purchased as a wedding shower gift for my son and future daughter in law. They love it, especially the cup holders! What a lovely way to end the day with a swing on the porch with your loved one.

Not much to say, it really fills the bill nicely: looks, comfort, strength, and quality.

My son surprised me with this 5ft. long Amish swing after my old one broke. It is very sturdy & well made. Comfy too. He put it together & had it hung up in half an hour. (We used thick eye hooks screwed into rafters & S hooks to attach the chains.) I had special springs made which makes the swing bounce a bit. It is hung on a patio undercover. Highly recommend. Pay a bit more for better quality. Hopefully this swing will last 25 years like my old one.
