Its a wonderfully starter kit.

Regular lacquer polish usually starts chipping on me within 24hrs. I stopped painting my nails because I felt like it was a waste of time, but I came across this gel starter kit i never tried before and figured it was worth a shot.It comes with a few tools, files, the light, a top coat, base coat, a pink, a paler pink, a purple, and blue.I followed the directions which were pretty easy. The color coat kind of goes on streaky, but doesnt end up looking too bad when all is done. The description says no odor but I certainly smell one- should say low odor because the bottles of nail polish have a very faint smell of melting plastic. Although, during the curing and afterwards there is no odor. It also says the light has 2 time settings - 45 seconds and 60 seconds. I cant figure out why there is even a 45 second setting because the directions say 60 seconds for every step. There is no clear way to switch between settings, mines only been operating on the 45 seconds. And the light is a little small and i feel like it doesnt reach all of my fingernails evenly when its set on the table. I found it is best to make an open fist and hold the light over all of my nails, or do thumb separate.i did the base, purple, and top coats and the gel works pretty well. I do stuff that requires my hands alot, and it was a few days before I noticed any chipping at all, so that's a win for me! I took the purple off yesterday and did the base, regular nail polish, and top coat, and it worked, so I'm going to see how long that stays on for!Please let me know if you have any questions about my review, or if you have found it "helpful" to you.

I really like the idea that this nail polish is non toxic and it's safe for kids/pregnant ladies. I got the Glitter Golden color and I think it pairs well with lots of my warm colored clothes and I'm very into the color copper, it looks lighter in the bottle but it'll actually be more saturated once dried on your nails. It dried pretty fast, but I still waited about an hour before getting in the shower and it actually has lasted for 6 days! I tried to peel it off today but I don't feel comfortable doing it yet because it feels like I'd damage my own nails so I'll use nail polish remover later.

This is a pretty and convenient kit! The lamp is little but it works perfectly. The lap is 6W. If you want to see how gel works and want a very simple and affordable kit this is perfect. It has all what you need to do your nails with gel. Gel its pretty better that regular nail polish. The gel dry quickly and dont need to be worry about any disaster. All the colors but orange is exactly as the picture. Orange one looks more like a soft brown or a very light orange. But all the colors are pretty.

I was so happy about this. The polish was beautiful and the lamp was so cute and tiny and worked so good. I was excited because the light didn't sting my fingernails like some of the other ones.I was impressed with the amount of tools and product that came with this.What I wasn't impressed with is once I was done my nails, I went to unplug the light and the entire plug unit fell into the lamp. It's floating around in there now and not useful. Can't use the light anymore. So disappointed.If this was built better, or maybe I got a defective one. This would have been a 5 star product. I was generous and gave it two because luckily, I have a spare light and the polish is good.

This kit everything has everything I needed to file and clean my nails, as well as get ready to polish and dry them.The instruction manual is very nice and easy to follow. The colors of the nail polish were marked on the top of each bottle, so they were easy to pick out. I liked the timer in the UV lamp, too, as I didn’t have to think about how long my nails are under the lamp. The lamp was warm enough to dry my polish, but not hot enough to burn.Overall,I would recommend this kit. Perfect for a girls night in or some pampering!

I would not consider this product to be a professional tool kit for doing your nails, but it is a great starter or practice kit. The value is good considering how much it comes with and does not take up a lot of space. The gel warmer does not get hot and looks more like a UV light, and it does take a little while for the gel to harden. I am pleased with the tools that come with it and have enjoyed doing nails with my teenage daughter. She enjoys using it during sleep overs so I would recommend it for a girls gift.
